  • Surprisingly big street food night market in Nanning. Hundreds of street food stands in an older quarter of town. I filmed at around 11 pm, so the market wasn't packed with people - it's open until 3 am.

    Nanning in the 'Green Zone' a beautiful city 200km from the Vietnam border. Great video but needs a commentary...
    We lived there for a few months and missed this great night market - Will find it next visit. Thank you for sharing - Can almost smell the beautiful food...

      I spent 3 weeks in Nanning, first in 2006, and again in 2007. The most fascinating and unique experience of my life! I ate at several of these markets. Out of this world~!~!~!~

    I will go n live there next year. My adopted father lives there. Yeahhhhh the food indeed looks so yummy. I think I won't miss too much my hometown food so much. Except rendang n sayur asem, fried Tempe n sambal terasi limo for sure. Hehehhe

      you can take the subway from train station. less than 10 min to the street. Yongjiang Hotel is the nearest hotel to the street but a little expensive and looks old. Shopping center is nearby, there's Walmart there.

    Yeah I did went to this night market too at around the same time, already near 12pm, at first I thought it was gonna be late to see & experience the crowd (the closing time), but turned out it still crowd & it get more pack till 2am

    where do you even pay for this stuff? Don't see a cash register or anything at any of the stands.

      Because online paying is widely used through China. No long queres on counters, No germs on cash, just scan QR code then we can pay to shops or individuals.

      Rice noodles roll (called 捲筒粉 in Nanning ).then it’s kinda similar to chueng fan =腸粉 which is popular in Hong Kong also Guangdong.

      @@themostinterestingmaninthe7446 it's a light dish usually eaten for breakfast and per se not very strong in taste. You can choose the topping. It's like pancake, but not as heavy to the bite. Similar to rice noodles. Suitable for the people who live in a subtropical climate like southern China.

      Adsense only pays if people are watching, and people didn't have anything to watch before he started to travel. I'm fairly certain he had some other head start that took him around before that was a factor. Either a businessman on the go, or he saved his pennies for a trip that payed off, or he was simply wealthy prior.
      Anyway you cut it, he's letting us in on the adventure.

      jesus... not everybody has to do things your way. its street food in a market, there is going to be pollution no matter what. You eat fish? They live in a polluted ocean thanks to us. They also have high levels of mercury, everything is polluted.
