Could you do an episode explaining how the Unichip integrates with the Auto Transmission, particularly the models that have electronic line pressure control. So that when Turbo Boost is increasing it adjusts settings to keep the trans safe?

What's the torque increase from 1000rpm to 1500rpm ? Reason I am asking this is, when fully loaded going up hill, the stock 1hdfte struggles to move up a little, on road .

Excellent video! I own LC 100 with 1HD-FTE. I hope I could visit your shop but I live in Finland 😑

Does the uni x have any advantages over the uni q4 in controlling the tune on the 1HDFTE?

I have a 1998 1hdfte motor, probably the first lot that came out of the factory. The engine runs on a mechanical fuel pump. will the Uni-X work in my case.

What about stock 78 series 1hdfte tune. Do you need to install an intercooler to keep egt’s down?? And are these kits plug n play as I’m in the west.

The kits are hardwired directly into the engines ecu harness. No you don’t require an intercooler, no the intercooler doesn’t keep your EGTs down!?!
The intercooler keeps lower intake temps for a longer period of time.

What turbo and other mods are you using

Im confused by how you can drive with lower rpm. Isnt it all mechanical ratios? Only thing that can change rpm for a given speed is gearing? Or tyre size which i guess is still gearing. I ask only to understand as i am about to get a tune and dont want to suffer poor economy for power.

Once tuned you produce more power and torque at a lower RPM you will require less RPM to achieve the same amount of drive as unmodified.
