The regular flex is above amazing, i literally can't wait to get my hands on this speaker. 400 is way too much but I'm still going to buy it 😂 they nailed the regular flex i hope this one blows me away when i hear it
So $400 wasn't enough that they have to tap you for another $45 for a rope? $445 plus tax is going to be pushing 500 bones for a smallish speaker. 😧 Trying to wrap my head around the fact that with with the rope the price is more than a JBL Partybox 120 and the same without the rope. Somebody stop the insanity. 😂
Hi. I need some more info on the Bose Soundlink Max. How well does it handle high volume levels? Is there any distortion or loss of quality at both low and high volumes? I already own two Soundlink Flex speakers, but I'm not quite happy with them as they have directional sound; you either need the speakers facing up to get a spread feel of sound or be sitting in front of them to hear the notes well. Would it be worthwhile to purchase the Soundlink Max for travel and carrying in my backpack with my laptop, chargers, etc.? I'm looking for something with a sound spread without a loss of quality music. Additionally, how does the Soundlink Max compare to the Bose Home Smart speaker and the SoundTouch 20 in terms of quality and volume? I feel the SoundTouch 20 doesn't produce good highs, possibly due to its older technology, while the Bose Home Smart speaker sounds really pleasing to my ears with the added advantage of Wi-Fi, 360-degree sound, and Alexa. Another issue with all the wireless Bose speakers and earbuds is battery drain, even when not in use, typically within 3-4 days. I've noticed this especially with the Home Smart speaker and my Bose wireless earbuds. Does the Soundlink Max have the same battery draining issue? Lastly, what are the two grills on the side for? Please let me know your views and suggestions.
Hi, how you can compare the speaker with 2 Bose soundlink flex paired together? If this speaker sounds better than 2 flex, because I have 2 of them and if they are better I setereo mode it will pointless to buy this one. Thanks.
I have a pair of Flex and they sound very good. The advantage of course is you can place them several feet apart and get good stereo affect and they do play pretty loud. I just got the Flex Max 2 days ago. This plays very loud with pretty good stereo separation. A little too early for me to judge the Max fairly, but I think a pair of the regular Flex may be just as good. I think the real deal will come when you can pair 2 of the Max.
This speaker has a heavy bass sound signature. In my experience with these types of speakers, they usually perform better indoors. That’s not to say that you can’t use it outside, but at the same time, do you really want to spend that much money on a small outdoor speaker? There are much cheaper & more logical small to medium size options for outdoor use. The Soundcore Boom2 is a good outdoor option & it retails for $129.99. Does it sound better than the Bose? Probably not. Sound quality & definition aren’t as important for outside as it is inside. For a true outdoor speaker, these things matter most: clarity, volume, & battery life. The Boom 2 has a battery life of 24 hrs. & is rated at 80 watts. Just think long & hard about it, that’s all.
Hello, I am experiencing an issue when playing really bass heavy music at very high volume levels with the Bose Soundlink Max, there is quite a bit of distortion more I than would expect, is this normal behaviour? Example of a song would be bad guy from Billie Eilish. Thank you for your help.
At $399.99, you're better off getting the JBL EXTREME 4, or even better than that, you can purchase 2 Soundcore Boom 2 at $129.99 each & pair together to get TWS & still have 💰 left over.
@@emmanuelhebrew1171 look at the size of that speaker. Imagine or picture what the Sounlink Flex looks & sounds like. Basically, it’s probably 2 of those combined.

@@shoerice5083 then go with the Anker motion boom 2 for it's size and audio quality like me. The build quality isn't worth it IMO. This a a $199 speaker.

By the way the bose supports the app with a 3 band eq. Not insnane but at least something😂

Nice with the quick review! Have been waiting to hear some feedback on this speaker
I’m going to wait for Bose to come out with a firmware update where you can stereo pair together

Quality vs quantity. It’s up to you what means more for you.
It would have been awesome for 299😭
Even jbl priced their extreme 4 at 380 then why bose priced this lower than extreme 4, bose is more premium brand.
Xtreme 4 is 270$ in my country😂😂😂😂😂@@prash1246
Harmon Kardon onyx studio 7 for 99 dollars new, you can get 2 and put in Stereo instead of this hot garbage from Bose.
Can't wait for Flossy Carters review too
thats the one i was looking for. suprised he hasn’t got his hands on this yet.
It's already out of flossys channel
Yeah knowing him he gonna love the Bass on this lol 😂
What’s the power rating in watts?
would also like to know if anyone has this info
I like bose, it's nice but the price isn't.

I’m thinking 2 is better than one . If you have the two no need for a single one.. also it’s double the speakers as well

@@66skate How's the sound quality compared to soundlink flex when both volumes are kept equal?
I have the previous flex and love it. I’ll pass on the max due to the price and handle.

Woofer on the left, tweeter in the middle, and mid on the right. Just picked mine up today.
Probably 2 full range and a tweeter.
Also has 2 passive radiators to boost bass.
