Hello! Animation student here. I'm still having trouble blending the two animations. My character, after following your video AND that of my professor's, is still stopping to punch rather than walking/running and punching at the same time.
Hey so I have a hit animation which shows full body movement when played and when I blended it with the running, it works fine but I want the animation to play as the default I.e. full body involved when the character is in idle state. Can u please help me with that? Thanks.

i only got one problem. i want to play the Animation when i pick up something. But in the Actor BP, you know where i made the item to pick up, you can't play Anim montages. has anyone got a solution for this? thanks in advance! edit: you can play anim montages there sorry ^^

Do you know a way to make it ignore a certain montage. I have a punch and a stomp, when I use my stomp it doesnt show because its only doing whats above the spine. Any Ideas?
Yes you can You will need to go to your animation montage and go to the anim slot manager from there you will want to create a new slot, name it something and then make your animation play through that slot. Then you will need to go to your character animation blueprint and make it play through that new slotyou created. By default all animation montages play through the default slot.
Next video will be on a dismemberment system, let me know if you have any other ideas

How do you blend animations for several animations? Such as jumping and kicking while in air and maybe spinning after that. And still look smooth.

Okay, so this sorta solved my issue, but I want it to play the full animation when I'm not moving and if I am moving, to play the montage animation.

Yeah you can use layered blend per bone inside the animbp not as an anim montage I just did for the video

Yes you can
