Thank you for showing us that you need a "default slot" in the amin bp for the anim montage node to work. Kinda crazy because how would i find out that i need that node? i was sure the anim bp somehow doesnt know what anim it is and thats why it probly doesnt work but i would have never guessed you need that . Thanks for saving my time
This is so simple but I never seem to get results from key events. Nothing happens. I've tried for weeks for different uses, but still no input. I even changed the BP_ThirdPerson blueprint setting to enable input. Which I thought for sure would fix it.
Bro I need help solving a problem I'm having with animation montage in ue5, the problem is the following I made an animation for the character and it's working correctly, but when I try to make an animation montage using it it seems that the animation is shorter in the montage than it is in the original, can you help me with that?
2questions: which is the purpose of the sections? I never see people using them. And the other one: Did u find a solution to prevent the sliding when playing the montages as in the last example
1. IMO sections come handy when you have the same type of animation with "variants". Example: Emotes, Attacks (for combos). You have everything in a single asset and they share the same properties like Blend In and Blend Out. Less repetition. 2. Yes, you can fix the sliding with Anim Notify States. Montage plays fine using a key input, but not if used in a function such as death animation. It worked fine with UE4.27, but not with 5.03, what changed?

I'm running into an issue, even when the "Enable Root Motion" is Clicked my character doesn't move

Normally it only plays a single loop.
