Hoylake fly fishers have fishing on Llyn Diwaunedd a remote lake in North Wales. The lake is split into 2 separate parts, separated by a narrow, shallow channel.
The lake holds wild brown trout, with fish to 1lb being caught, although larger fish to 5lb are said to exist in the lake.
The lake is also home to a population of arctic char, possibly originating in llyn Peris, having been re-located from that venue to a number of lakes in North Wales.

I loved fishing these out of the way places in my youth but they can be hard to get to and to catch on so I admire your determination!
Well done, a good effort for a small return and, luckily, that white lion was looking the other way on the walk back to the car....😅
That was the great day. all about fishing not catching 🎣👍🏻
I fished here two years ago - approaching from the mountain to the north (Moel Siabod). Fish were rising freely all over both lakes, but there was no wind, it was an overcast evening, and the midges were so bad I had to run for it!
@@davids9549 wild nature 😀🎣👍🏻
Can I ask how you accessed the lake? It is some distance from the main road, not for the faint hearted!
the lake is located high in the mountains. far from the main road. many people go there for walks, camping in tents and of course to swim. this lake belongs to the hoylake associations. if you are asking about fishing.🎣
