Es asombroso como mas de 10 años y ningún DISLAIK.....IT S AWESOME HOW MORE THAN 10 YEARS AND NOT DISLAIKE..FROM MEXICO. PET SHOP BOYS AND BOBBY O..THE BEST OF THE BEST TOGETHER!!!
Why the finished version of this didn't get released as a single baffles me. I got blown away when I first heard it on the flip-side of Heart... such energy and emotion shouldn't be hidden away on a b-side. This version is one of the better demos they did with Bobby O. I'm glad they didn't stick with him... they would never have achieved anything noticeable.
I think it's a very interesting version, I mean I like the final product more than this but me as producer think this is nice underground, with Neil sounding natural, as it is supposedly sung in one take. It gives the real human feeling as well as the wicked synths. And yeah it's Bobby O all over the place. Real vintage!
Interesting to hear this early version, nice at the time but the ‘88 version updated it nicely to the PSB new style. The Bobby O mixes are good but I’m glad PSB changed their sound when they did.
I Get Excited (You Get Excited Too) I Get Excited (You Get Excited Too) I Get Excited (You Get Excited Too) I Get Excited (You Get Excited Too) I Get Excited (You Get Excited Too) I Get Excited (You Get Excited Too)
@Chris Fellows yeah it was a b-side but not a single or album track. If it wasn’t similar to the simple minds track it should definitely have been released as a single (A-side).
Bobby O was definitely a great producer. And at the same time, he often relied on the same musical tricks (and lazyness?) that can make some of his productions boring... Too much sounding like the Flirts' Passion... Or any Divine production
This is a nice demo but the version on the b-side of "Heart" was single material, this was not polished enough for that. (I miss the sampled : oh oh oh oh oh / oh oh oh oh oh / oh) :)
The version which PSB play during their Electric Tour (2013) is actually based on this "Bobby O Demo". What a fantastic gift for fans! :)
Still listening in 2021! Great band great song!!!
Ugh, when will these Bobby O get tidied up and released officially? I'd kill to have remastered versions of these!

LMAO the keyboard riffs reminds me of Passion by the flirts.
I love this Version - it`s so AWESOME!!!!
Great Bobby O Tune!

Bobby O never re-invented his sound so it finally sound all the same
If that is your opinion and your arguments when saying that the sound is the same ...
Wow that's a great comment!!!
Agreed, it had #1 wrote all over it, their best b side I think , really polished for a single release.
Best of version 👍
Bobby "O" forever
This is a brilliant tune, i prefer it to the version they released

Good that the backing rift became 'Beautiful Launderette'.

The problem with Bobby O's tracks, almost all of them, is that they sound the same.
Why is this awesome version still unreleased???
unfortunately it only remains on the demo track, there is the official version but it is not at all similar to this version.
The reason this has never been released is because parlaphone spent a lot of money to get psb out of the contract with bobby o
I Get Excited (You Get Excited Too)

Ah Simple Minds Theme For Great Cities Sample..nice!
as a Simple minds fan i spotted it straight away too ! lots of hooks you ve heard somwhere else before in that one ! :)
B4AGRO&FOOD SYSTEMS I think we just found the reason why PSB didn’t release this as a single then, or as part of an album.

Se debe escuchar de maravila en la Base Miller.
