We also gotta understand there's a cultural difference between players in the NFL. For better or worse some of these dudes grow up in this type of environment and have always put themselves first over the team because at the end of the day, they need to stand out to get to the next level.
I don't think what you're saying is wrong or am I disagreeing with it. One of the things that makes the NFL great is that you have all types of players from different backgrounds playing together with different goals (good or bad).
