A road cut east of New Liskeard in northern Ontario for a few fossils and calcite crystals. Where I look and what I found. Enjoy! email: meminerrocks@gmail.com
Oh man. Good times. This brings me back to your videos from 6 years back. That’s when I thought you kept calling the holes ‘bugs’ 🤦🏼♀️. Ya don’t want to talk about it. Looking forward to seeing the little cluster clean up.
That last shot with the cows and horses was perfection. You need one of those auto-mechanic bolt retrievers….a long bendy rod with a plunger that causes a clasping claw to come out the other end.. Vug explorer!
Hiya Greg, awesome video and I love those fossils, I find fossilized coral off the Mississippi River, but they're not as beautiful as the ones you found fresh out of the matrix stone. Those are so beautiful. I hope you have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 😺🐟 out!
You're a brave soul for sticking your finger in random vugs by the road! Been bitten by a spider more than once doing that so now I just blow on it or use a glove.
You know what stinks about the area I live in, is that we do have some really interesting stuff in RI. where I live. A guy sent me a map of RI. and where some really nice things can be found. The problem is that when I put a street map over it, so much is on private property or in peoples backyards. I am not even going to ask because I would not want people digging up my turf either.
@@meMiner It is because when I saw the things that can be found I got excited and then I was so bummed when i saw where they are. I bet you some homeowners don't even know what is under their lawn.
@@PabloDiablo682 True that. And I don't know what is in my garden, where I put some of my rocks or the gravel driveway out back where I panned out my gold concentrates for years. LOL
@@meMiner I have told you this before I think, so........I remember one time and it was years ago now, maybe 2 or 3 and you had some substantial gold in i believe quartz was the host rock, and one day you decided to break it down and you were on a picnic table that was on gravel which I assumed was part of your driveway. I don't even remember where you got all of it from, but you were going to town on the specimen. I could see pieces of gold go flying, and even saw them in the gravel. You just left em there. You can tell people you park on a golden driveway. lolol
Sort story. I know someone who worked on the Alaska Highway. After a blast, they would all inspect the rocks to see what might be exposed. One time they thought they hit a vein of gold but after the excitement receded realized it was copper. Still, very cool.

Don't feel badly, when I type "vug", I get an autocorrect to bug every time
Can't think of a better way to spend a day. Great finds, congratulations.
that was Fun! Thanks for taking me with. I really do appreciate You!
Thanks for showing us your ways on finding the cool stuff
That was an awesome cluster. Reminds me of a hedgehog!
Wow, is that a beautiful area so peaceful and serene just big open pastures kinda, relaxing❤
Yeah, nice spot. Rocks on one side of the road and horses/cattle running around on the other
Gotta love road cuts. That was a really good cluster you found at about 5:30. Keep having fun! 😷⚒

We don't have many nasty creatures here
Wow my friends.....
When i use to do OTR trucking i would stop and look for gems out west especially the back roads
There is some great road cuts out west. I hit a number last year but broke the memory card and could not share. Next time
Cool!
1:21 - there was a bug in that vug!! :)

Sorry to hear that

How's the weather there, it's hotter then ever here, got any fish in the river, looks like Vermont America has all your water ?
It is hot now. I cannot leave the dogs in the truck. Fish are plentiful here. ;-)
i would be a bad road worker, i would spend most of the time talking and looking excitingly at the rocks we dig up.

@@NordicProspecting I should have got a location from him. Too late now
It's Not Going To Come And Get Us. But It Will Not Be Looking For Us. But It's a Fun Game. 💰👍✌.
Am i seeing cinnibar? or is it just bright red iron staining
Baritre maybe, but don't think that formation would have cinnabar.
@@meMinerthat makes more sense
tbh the crystals u found, are honestly nothing to have or search for
Someone once said to me when I asked "Is this a good rock", he said, "if you like it, then it's a good rock." Eye of the beholder
@@meMiner Yes Sir. I agree ... 100%. If it makes me smile, it's a keeper.
@@meMiner Absolutely.
