Highlights: Having a catch up with my Portuguese sisters at Santo Domingo de la Calzada while enjoying the sun in the square.

I would recommend staying at a small Albergue that you share space with others and also eat together. It’s a lovely part of the experience. Really enjoying your films.
Thank you. Yes I have been in smaller Albergues with communal meals which have been lovely. I'm doing a mix of accomodations.
My son and I enjoyed Santo Domingo....we saw the chickens in the church, and Saint Dominic's tomb, which was pretty cool. We hope you are loving the camino....we sure did. Miss it a lot!
Having a fantastic time! Not sure how I felt about the chicken being locked up in that tiny space in the cathedral, made me so sad for them. It is a beautiful cathedral. So great you got to experience that with your son.
