"I really enjoyed this movie. I loved the plot and of course the actors. Victor Alfieri is very handsome and he is someone I could look at all day long. Ione Skye was perfect for the role as she was so different from the women Ferro went out with. Mr. Curtis added flair to the movie. There had to be a character like him so that Ferro could show forgiveness at the end. The parents were forgiven as well.
The ending was such a happy one because the characters came together, the truck driver and the hotdog vendor who helped him out.
I never get bored with this movie. I still continue to watch it over and over again as it is on My List on you tube."

I loved the idea of someone who was raised with everything then is told to go at least 30 days on his own. The over all story line is really really good. ❤
I started my cross country hitchhiking trip on Thursday August 26,1976 at 15 years old with 50 cents in my pocket. Not that I was like a misplaced person or anything, but I learned a lot making it to California in 9 out of the 11 days it took to get there. Back then everyone helped each other without really asking, I’m retired now and I still help people because of my childhood.

True life lesson in this movie, A wise father, who wanted the best for his son. People does treat you differently when you have money and when you don't, especially if they don't know who you are, unless they are truly genuine, then it won't matter to them, as long as you treat them right and with respect.

Too predictable but so funny to see all these lovable characters. New York City has a way of touching your heart in more than one way. These two main characters are lovable, funny in such a typical Italian love story. I had fun watching it.

Wonderful story, Victor Alfieri as Ferro Olivetti aka Claude kept his promise to his dying dad. His kindness and humility showed he could become successful anywhere. A lesson we all should share. It would be a happier world if we respected each other without pre-judging them before knowing them. We don't know their story and our smile or hello could brighten their day.

A very good movie, it shows the love of a son to his father by obeying him no matter what happens to him, he left all his material wealth for his father and live an ordinary man, just like our Father in Heaven He sent his only son on earth just an ordinary man without using his power.
