What's funny is how often they say they want a buddy to look at it. Then ask if the seller minds? Most say no but some people say yes or absolutely which means they mind if an "expert" examines it. Lol

I grew up being taught about antiques and how things age. You can tell that's a fake merely by looking at how bright the etching is and how there's no variance in the patina.
We have bunch of such art pieces in olden temple that date back in 2-3 centuries in my native village near city of Pune... Some of them are at Bhuleshwar temple, malshiras...
