  • Former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has recently made comments saying women who wear burkas "look like letterboxes". Sahar Al-Faifi, who has been wearing a burka since she was 14, responds to Johnson's comments and speaks about her faith. Television presenter Beverley Turner believes we should we be able to have a debate about the burka as she says "it has no place in the UK."

And everybody has to put up with her choice. Isn't it too selfish to do so. I don't think she could enjoy the freedom and benefits if she were to be in the middle east countries. 😊

In Islam, we believe in monotheism. In Islam, science and the study of knowledge is encouraged. We believe in Allah/God that is an all knowing entity that exists beyond the cosmos in space down to the atoms, not an old man above the sky, like others would think. He encompases the space and time continoum. He is even the creator of heavenly bodies (ex. Stars, etc.) and other worlds (other planets) and those living things contained therein. It's in the Qur'an. It's even told in the holybook that the Sun revolves on its own orbit around the galaxy. That's just one scientific miracles out of numerous too mention.
