Wish Nobunagas abilities had hidden skills. When he uses the slashes and projects the flames i was shook. Also Saito had some crazy Odachi skills which were great.
Late replay, but Yoshitatsu is Saito Yoshitatsu given name, Saito is their family/ clan name. Or if you are talking about Saito Toshimitsu, then the same applies, just replace Yoshitatsu with Toshimitsu.
These are the kinds of stuff that made me want to give the game another shot. I've beaten it before but with a considerable amount of carefulness and no combos whatsoever, i just spamed skills, never changed weapons or stanced and stuff. Now i've incorporated pre-shifting and yokai abilities with a good amount of stance dancing, and it's incredible how much more fun it feels, it's i'm playing a fighting game. Thanks Poofer

Hey man love your videos. Just started my second run on Nioh 2 and I’m having a lot of fun incorporating your lessons into my gameplay. Adds a lot of replay-ability to an already great game starting off. Keep doin your thing man! 🤟
I hate that the number of hidden skills isnt equivalent for every skill tree. Also, I know someone already said this, but i think it is such a waste that the three hidden skills for ninjutsu function like onmyo. They should have been: • ren and danzo's flying slash • danzo and hanzo's backflip (that can also throw a few other quick jutsu (like shuriken, kunai, caltrops) • izuna drop (this shouldnt be locked to sword and fists) Also, if i knew how to mod, I'd add: • onmyo- cast 4 quicksloted onmyo magic at the same time that are of the same animation type (either offensive projectiles or self buffs) • onmyo- doman's clone move I'd split samurai and archery into 2 seperate skills especially since you have multiple jutsus in the ninjutsu that affect bows that could be moved over for more space for more ninjutsu, even if theyre just passive buffs. I'd add the hidden skills: • lightning bow dude's bow attacks • dual pistols • rapid fire mode for all ranged weapons
there should be at least 2 per skill tree I think, though there is a case of argument for fist and sword having izuna drop and not other weapons, since it is from ninja gaiden where the main weapons are those 2. Still it'd be cool to see more on each weapon just for even more variety and combo madness
@Ricard1807o In ninja gaiden ryu gets: • sword • dual swords • nunchaku (which isn't in nioh) • tonfa • talons (fists and feet; only fists in nioh) • scythe (basically switchglaive) • kasurigama • staff (we get splitstaff) • flail (basically bladed nunchaku) • hammer • basically an odachi Izuna drop can also be done with the staff in ninja gaiden. Which at that point if you're gonna only have it for fists and sword, but then add it for staff, it might as well be available for every weapon as there's no reason it can't be.

So I finally got around to beating Nioh 2 with DLC (Dream of the Samurai anyway) and I'll admit I wish we got more hidden skills from Minamoto no Yorimitsu a.k.a Miss Anime, Specifically the one where she grabs you, tosses you behind her then flash step quickdraws on you. I can certainly see that being a Grapple move for Sword. Sure it'd compete with the likes of Dragon's Fang and Izuna Drop but still.
I don’t get it. I have 4 more skillpoints for my sword but unableto use them. I can’t seem to find a circle that is not in red.Besides, what are those that are colored blue?

A random co op joined me the player was only running with a sword which kept sheathing it and then any enemy that attacks he trips and puts them on their back to do a deathblow now I am sure the player did this technique with yokai as well as humans anyone knows what I am talking about?
Not anymore you can't. I have all the skills on my main character already, but I just started a new game. And the drop rate for skills on ng is like .005% now, no joke. After the whole game was out, and then the pc release came, they nerfed the drop rate on ng, to force you to get them from ng+ and up. Dumbest decision ever. On my 1st run back at release, I got all the skills except triple threat, and reverse impact, within 10-15 tries. Now, I've put in 50+ tries per boss with skills, and I've got 5 out of 28 skills. So I did the math, and that's about 1000 tries total, and I have 5 skills. Ridiculous. Doubly so, since I already farmed all the skills on my other character. But I have almost every smithing text already, on ng. And really good scrolls dropped on my 1st twilight mission on strong, in multiples. So they greatly increased drop rates of texts and scrolls, build stuff, and nerfed skill drops into the ground. Proving yet again, that team Ninja only cares about all the "look at my op build" people, and players that just enjoy skill play are left to just deal with it, I guess. I wish I had it on pc... I'd just cheat engine all the skills on, right at the start. I finished ng with my highest stat at 22, and no set bonuses to speak of; I don't want to make a build, I want all my skills asap. I love nioh 2, and I'm thinking about just quitting... I can't imagine that most new players coming in now want to deal with this.... it's the same thing with tempering now too. It used to be, you could get decent stuff with regular umbracite, if you roll enough; but now, anything worthwhile doesn't roll at all, unless you use at least quality. It's like they dialed up the rng to insane heights now. New players are gonna play one playthrough and be done with it.... and I can't blame them. Locking the very best gear, and effects behind at least dotw already turns many players off; now, hidden skills are essentially locked behind at least ng+. Unless you're willing to fight each boss like 300 times per skill that is. It's very frustrating, compared to how fair it was the first time

@@PopstarDracula I like all GS talismans for different reasons. Hyobishin, Ho-oh, Mizuchi are pretty popular. But, it's kind of a matter of preference.

Izuma drop is also really good cause it leaves opponents on the floor and you can stand em back up and basically leave them permanently ki-less

Probably a bit late already but you can level melee mastery infinately it just gives you a +1 or a +2 to damage but its more than nothing.

The rate is absolutely abysmal. I've had to farm bosses upwards of 50 times. UGH.

Just double tap the respective inputs for Crimson Lotus and Devastation. Gotta have Tonfa Gun tempered on your Tonfa.

I saw how one of the summoned spirit's used cannon in combat like a weapon skill, is it cheater or you can find this skill in the game?
Soul cores such as Fuki and Aberrant Soldier have this effect. Unlikely to be a cheater.
