Phenomenally done and very valuable information. I didn't ride it that fast during my test ride but, I couldn't shift to 4th at around 2,500 RPM and below 38-39 km/h. My poor and old 150cc motorcycle is comfortable at 50 kmph with the engine spinning around 4,000 RPM in 6th. Gave me another strong reason, for why it is not suitable for me and my use. Thank you so much.
That's the whole point of reviews and such videos: to tell things that aren't available in a brochure, and even if they are, whether they are correct or not. 😃 Secondly, it's unfair to expect a large, short-stroke, SINGLE, to be as tractable as a 150. It's just not possible! That said, even when you compared, you missed its rpm at 60. So your 150 does 60 in 6th at 4k. And you want a relaxed ride at 60, right? This does 60 km/h at just over 3k in 5th! Problem solved 😃 Check the video again, especially post the 10.00 min mark 😃
@@RealAutoReviews Oh yes, I missed that! Thanks for highlighting. I shall check the video again. What I felt might be just because of the short ride. In that case, I may only be able to use the 6th in 20% of my riding.
@@RealAutoReviews Bro, this truly amazes me how insanely tractable my Speed 400 is. Triumph has truly done some black magic to that engine which makes it behave quite similar to it's Twin cylinder siblings.
@@akshayamte1031 I said that those abnormal noises you are talking about are mostly a result of improper running-in. Watch my running-in video. Follow it to the T, and then your engine would thank you for life. You may thank me later 😃
Shiraz bhaiz i have ridden new Himalayan for few KM's. Mostly 3rd and Max 4th gear I dont know why but in 1st, 2nd and 3rd it feels like the engine will stall if i dont keep it in correct speed. Just like we do in KTM engines
@NewsXAuto I am from Karnataka Bangalore Bhai In my bike during down shift I find my gear sound like thak thak and in upshit only in 1 and 2 gear I hear hard gear shift sound thak thak
Both my new 400x and old 650 Intercptr comfortably take 6th gear at 60kmph.. So the 450 sherpa isnt muck fun to ride till u attain and maintain cruising speeds
@@NewsXAuto bhai..stop and consider what I'm trying to say.. I'm talking of the entry/ exit speed.. Speed at witch! you can move into that gear..or stay there without knocks.. Tu itna aggressive kaiKu rey

Lowest comfortable speed in this video:-
2nd gear - 20 kmph
3rd gear - 35 kmph
4th gear - 50 kmph
5th gear - 60 kmph
6th gear - 75 kmph
This is much much worser than what Triumph Speed 400 managed:-
2nd gear - 12 kmph
3rd gear - 20 kmph
4th gear - 30 kmph
5th gear - 45 kmph
6th gear - 55 kmph
Doesn't really matter in the real world. The lowest speeds in both videos are shown primarily to enable the owners to avoid lugging the engine 😃
Best video in YT about the himmi bhaii 🎉
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
Some people are complaining about abnormal noise in engine after 2000 km..do u knw what will be reason for that...?
Improper running-in,.mostly.

6th to 5th and 5th to 4th are pretty close to what RE recommends. Nice
True! The idea is to test which claim is right and which isn't 😃

@@rahulnarayanan2396 haha, exactly! Watch my running in video as well. There also you would get to learn a few things 😃
1-2 = 50
2-3 = 80
3-4 = 100
4-5 = 120
5-6 = 140
6 = 140+
Is this pattern okkey broo😊
Watch the running-in video later today for the answer 😃
boring video...very irritating
