🐺👩🏻 That looks delicious, I add chopped green olives and a little bit of the juice.. Never did it with chicken thighs, thank you! I never liked pastelles done with chicken, instead of beef and pork, because people would use chicken breat meat, and the inside pastelle filling tasted dry.. That's why when I order pastelles, from a good latin restaurant, and I usually buy 12 pastelles already cooked. Then take the amount I need and freeze the rest.. When you want to eat one, take one out of the freezer, place it in a plasticTupperware square container, add a little bit of water, place the lid on top, no need to close it completely. Give it 3.30 minutes and its done! Nothing to boil, bc they are already cooked. I always ordered de carne cerdo (pork meat). Save a couple in the refrigerator, because I will be eating this, almost EVERY DAY folks! Love pastelles, it's the perfect food, all I make is a salad and serve with one pastelle. Thank for your recipe.💕
Thanks for this video! Pasteles are getting so expensive, that the people making them are not really doing the greatest job with them. This Christmas (2023),I will be using your video to make my own pasteles! Thanks so much! God bless you!

23/nov./2020.

I want to start with a big thank you! I have never made pasteles by myself before. I have always been a helper. After losing my mom I decided to learn how to cook everything she cooked for her family. It was an emotional endeavor. There was a lot of crying as I prepared everything to make the pasteles. My pasteles turned out delicious. The meat was delicious. The only ingredient I changed was the bay leaves, I used fresh bay leaves. I also made el Arroz Con Dulce that turned out delicious too. Tell your wife her recipe is the bomb!!! God bless you both.
Beautiful bro! I need you to keep going!!!! Love the recipes and the #1 killer is that you do each step bilingual!!! Can watch you all day! What recipes you doing next? Sofrito? Arepas? Mofongo con pollo? And I'm sure you got a Coquito video coming up soon, right? lol

So if I use pork, do the stock the same way but with pork?
