Lionel Postwar 221 NYC Dreyfus Hudson Passenger Set Outfit 1400w and Prewar 259e Passenger Set 1933

Here are two vintage o gauge train sets by lionel first is my Postwar Set Outfit 1400W from 1947 it’s a 221 New York central Dreyfus Hudson Steam Engine a 221w NYC whistling Tender pulling 3 Passenger car two 2430 Pullman’s and a 2431 observation car in blue and silver colors I added interior lighting to each car the 221 Hudson Passenger Sets never came with lights and I thought they should have and looks nicer all the mounting holes were already there so no big modifications were needed to install next is a set that is for sale a Prewar Set Outfit 242E Passenger Set made in 1933-34 tinplate 259e a 259T coal Tender a 603 Pullman and a 604 Observation car and terra-cotta color One of few sets that Lionel made that only came with two passenger cars the later 242E sets came with 3 Passenger Cars but were painted red with black roofs that was made in 1935-36
