Hi I just got a 5706 viper with voice in if and it says system. I wanted it to say viper. What does the installer have to do to change it to viper. I got everything through them. $850.00 I know that was a lot bug in California I had higher quotes.
This was 8 years ago do they have anything like that for nowadays with all the catalytic converters and the gas being stolen I'm looking for this I remember I had this in my car many many years back when I used to race
You can install a Compustar security system with a DAS2 which is a shock, glass break and tilt sensor all in one. You can also have a secondary siren and the horn hooked up so the vehicle makes a bunch of noise.

You would have to add a glass break sensor (microphone) and proximity sensor to the vehicle. My only problem with proximity is even when tuned, they can false a lot.

Can someone help me? I just installed a 516U unit into a Viper 350HV and a 508D sensor. Sound feature "Warn Away!" is heard when the sensors read movement near the car, and the "Viper Arm" sound is also heard when I lock the vehicle. But when I unlock the vehicle there is no "Viper Disarm" sound. Is my unit defective or is there something I missed in setting up my unit?
Installed the exact same setup (viper 350 plus and 516U voice module. I am having issues however making the voice work. only thing it does is the warn away, dipswitches are set to off off on on. in the manual it says i have to totally delete the chirp from 514t siren. how do i do it? what i have is the 514N. how did you make yours work. 350plus module has the onboard shock sensor. PLEASE HELP
Dude, I want this so bad now. How much would you think Shop would charge to install this? Would you want to go to an independently owned shop? I know they still sell alarms that Best Buy can install, but they might not be able to do this?

got it. its the diode on orange. its actually in the manual.

There's dip switches inside the module box you have to change to alter the language.
