Its wild how we experience symptoms so different, im approaching 7 month off methadone and my bad days are debilitating I cant even work yet full or part time, just random side jobs on good days. everyday i feel a intensity in my chest, my skin burns still and my face and mind feels like electricty burning through it. but heres the blessing that I have had zero issue with sleep i sleep a good 9 hours and ok dreams even during the acute withdrawal i was able to get at least 6 hours a night ( I would however get pulled from dream land many times a night and have to reset) somehow I got really lucky with sleep as I can imagine how lack of sleep amplifies symptoms like fatigue

Im making the decision to do the jump again. I will be taking a little kratom and going to work. I know its not the right way, but im just not gonna make it through work with nothing. Its unfortunate, its heart breaking. But i trust in the Lord, and i believe he will see me through. And i will eventually be off everything Lord willing. Kratom is garbage i know. Your a class act a pure soul and a role model for all of us who battle with drug issues and being a family person. How many months did It take you to feel normal after quitting kratom? I heard methadone Is the hardest opiate to get off of..When you take an opiate all your doing Is borrowing happiness from tommorow pretty soon your borrowing happiness from next month and next year! Recovery take time. I find cbd and magnesium work for restless leg syndrome! That Is my main side effect of WD. The other two big WD's are lack of energy and BOREDOME!! And yes life's about balance absolutely! staying busy helps! Having purpose! Alot of us started drugs to create an escape. The key Is to replace the bad habit/escape with good ones! You have to act! Overthinking usually leads to repeating your daily process...A vicious cycle! I have all the knowledge to get off drugs but still haven't completely..Idk If It's considered a disiese but It's definitely a struggle! You can't lose If you don't quit! God Bless!

Hi Brandon! Yes, Methadone is Opioid and it is the hardest to detox from, plus it takes a lot longer. Next would be Suboxone/Subutex and it takes longer and is difficult too.

Finding your channel a month ago is what got me finally deciding to get off this crap. I was already thinking about it for a long time, but things came to a head, had a lot of spiritual revelations after my mom died from covid, and now I’m more determined than ever to get through it, regardless of how long it takes. I know you’ve been having a rough time lately, I hope you’re doing better. I know I leave a lot of similar comments, but dude, you’re such a huge inspiration for me. You making these videos has made a huge difference in my life, and I thank you for it. I’m gonna try my best to taper quickly down to a super low dose, I’m gonna try to stick with that for a hot minute, and then I’m gonna ween off from there, .25 or less being the cliff if I can get it that low without caving in and deciding to jump. If I didn’t have so many obligations I wouldn’t be so worried about the slow taper, I want to feel normal again more than anything in the world, to the point that it’s honestly like a dream that doesn’t seem super possible to me right now. But I want it so bad, and if it’s the only dream I can make come true as an addict on suboxone, then it will be done.

U know, once I got down to the 1mg area I really don’t think I stabilized until I jumped. Some Physical symptoms seemed to stabilize faster when I jumped actually. They get worse for a week or 2 then got better. The main thing your gonna deal with will be lack of energy, sleep disturbances and depression stuff during the paws. You’re gonna do just fine in the acute. You’ll deal with stuff but your also gonna feel more alive thst ever in ways. I went from 1mg to a 0.5mg in probably 3 weeks and then jumped. I wasn’t on a half for very long. I had the date set and just did the best I found before the jump. There was no number I was shooting for or anything. I knew it was gonna be whst it was. Your doing so good Angie. Your nearly there. Your gonna do fine. I know your prepared for the long haul and that’s what it is. God bless
