I’m so glad rupaul gave her, her flowers she’s been a pillar in the community of nz drag I love her, me and my cousin would pretend to do the vibrating cushion commercial and the scarf pin commercial with tea towels haha
This is a great interview. I was also bankrupted in NZ in 2017 at 50. I can relate to that. Its a tragedy that our NZ insolvency laws cause so much trauma and hardships, on top of being in debt. It really needs to change. No public laws should ever be allowed to cause suffering and force people to have to sell their homes when they have nowhere to go. Insolvency laws are corrupt in NZ. And the money that the insolvency office collects from selling possessions does not all go to creditors.
Of course people should have to sell their homes to pay their debts. Other people's livelihoods and homes can also be jeopardized if the debt is large enough, so your failure shouldn't be other people's as well. When you do well, you reap the rewards, and so it should be. But you don't get to have your cake and eat it too regardless of whether or not a business venture goes belly up.

This is a great interview. It's a funny thing, that sometimes you randomly think 'I wonder whatever happened to .......' I did that a couple of weeks ago about Suzanne Paul, so I was rapt when this video popped up. When I lived in NZ I loved watching her on the' Telly'. She is a wonderful inspiration to many.
