The Picasso Pants is my very favorite! Made three, cutting the last two shorter. But I love the longer length in the ponte!
Thanks Soxie! I’m definitely making more of these. 😊
Thank you, Gini! Super sews!
Love all the garments you made! Thanks for the video!
🤗
💕Claude💕!!!!! Thank you for letting me see my lovely boy! I really like TSW Swing Tee. Fit me great in the shoulders. I had to add 5-6" and a cheater fba and have made 3. I mad Picasso pants from some denim I've had for years and wear them more than I thought I would. I also like the Panel Pants. I have the original pattern and I think they took some fullness out for the re-release download. My next Picasso's are going to have some sort of pockets, maybe just a patch or maybe added to that front/side seam. Did you see Linda yesterday? She was wearing a Picasso sweatshirt that looked comfy and less complex. I just got some weird knit at a thrift shop that might work for that. I'm thinking I may make another Crane St Tee soon. I like the 1 I made but I made a mistake in lengthening the pattern so it hangs oddly. It's such a great shape when done right.
Hi Charlotte! I’ve been eyeing those panel pants since she released them I really want to make a pair. I was thinking about adding pockets to my next Picasso as well. I haven’t seen Linda’s video from yesterday yet but I’ll watch it tomorrow I have the crane st t but haven’t made it yet good to know you like yours now I’m inspired to make one. I did like the fit in the shoulders and upper body of my swing t I think I’m just not crazy about the fabric but I have a really cute knit print to make another one. Claude says “hi” 😂
I’ve got the Picasso pants pattern ready to cut out. I’m using a linen blend and I’m going to cut a medium. Can’t wait to get these going. 7:04
YAY!!!
So fun to have found your channel as we are very much alike in style, body type and height. The lantern leg pattern I use is Tessuti Tamiko. I generally make them in linen as I live in Arizona. Your makes are adorable. Love the people on the rayon knit top. ❤❤ Kristi
Thanks Kristi! I think I’ve looked at the Tamiko pants before but now I can’t remember so I’ll go look again. Any other pattern recommendations you have would be greatly appreciated since I k ow we have similar style and size thanks 🤗
Hi Ginny love your channel. l live in New Zealand and a long way from accessing a lot of products easily obtained in the US. I’m admiring the dress mannequin behind you particularly the expandable neckline. What brand of mannequin is this?
Hi catinthehat ! Thank you so much for watching. My dress form is REALLY old and it was gifted to me by a friend who bought it at an antique store. I have no idea of the maker as there isn’t a label anywhere 😢 I will say, if you can find one of these they’re really good. A little rickety and sometimes I have to put a little oil in her joints 😂. I think you’d have to troll e bay or house sales or resale shops to find one
Thank you Ginny
Hi Jinny, thanks for your vlogs, I really appreciate them. I’m really pleased that you’re featuring Sewing Workshop patterns as I look at them but haven’t bought any as I’m concerned re fit - I’m only 5ft. Would you share your height when you are reviewing the patterns (if you don’t mind) as it would help my perspective!
Hi Catriona! Thank you for your comment for future reference I’m 5’3” but I will try to remember to mention it in videos as I know that’s helpful for a lot of people. I’m really enjoying my sewing workshop patterns and for the most part fit has been pretty spot on I do think it’s important to look at the finished garment measurements as she sometimes has more ease than I’d like particularly since I’m shorter. At my height I feel like I have to be careful about how much volume I have in garments so I don’t look and feel overwhelmed by them. 🤗
@@thebigsewalong that’s very useful Jinny. Definitely don’t want to looked swamped😂
Love your channel . What pattern is your tee shirt and where did you purchase the fabric? So Cute!
Thank you Debbie! The pattern is the “star struck side tie top” from pattern emporium. I got the fabric at the store where I work (haberman fabrics in Clawson Michigan) unfortunately they don’t have a website 😩

Awweee, no website. What a dream job to work in a fabric store. 🤗
Debbie! I just now found that fabric at Marcy tilton.com
