Just bought lume box. Succesfully mapped house and got my first AI facades up within about 2.5 hours. How come my facades do not look as crisp as they should on the house? I am 1080hd laptop and projector. Perhaps its my prompts? I add high resolution 4k etc. Also, when will you be doing Christmas show prompts. I need to learn the prompts better is now my next thing. That's great to hear! When you say "as crisp as they should" do you mean the facade is crisp on your screen but not on your house or are you talking about crispness in the facades themselves? You might have seen there there is a new update to LumaMap (v1.2.0) with over 3x image quality so I'd recommend you check your inbox for an email from us about how to download it. @@wackjob7 Is your house very large? A house is a huge canvas, so it's normal to be able to see the pixels, particularly up close, to some extent. If you email info@lumabox.com with your order number I will get you set up with an update.
Hey, I bought the Luma Map from you, I now see that you have 100 starting credits for the AI (you should do your research beforehand - thought that would be free), now my question, what do 1000 new credits cost? I struck mainly because of the AI support :)
Hi. Yes you get 1000 credits bundled with LumaMap. Additional credits currently cost $10 for 1000. FYI we use DreamStudio for AI and it's their credit system, we don't add anything on top. Fingers crossed it will get even more affordable in the future

Only AI generations cost credits inside LumaMap - the AI is provided by DreamStudio and it's DreamStudio's credit system. If you use a standard generation model, that costs 1 credit. Some models are XL and they cost 2. When you've used the 1000 that come bundled with the software you need to buy more credits from DreamStudio and they currently cost $10 for 1000.
The credits are for generating AI images within the software. The software comes bundled with 1000 credits which can generate 5000 images. If you use up your 1000 free credits - however long that might take - you can buy more from Stability.ai who operate the image generation process. Stability.ai just made their credits a lot more affordable. There are free image generators available, but we can't speak to their quality.

Don't think I could do this. Have no yard, only a 6' deep porch off a sidewalk, 2 story--similar to a brownstone. Can I do anything w mine?
It does sound like a challenge. Maybe interior window projections are something you could explore to get your feet wet in the hobby?

As I'm watching the video I noticed that each time you do something it's 1 credit, I thought each upscale and image should be .2 credits.
Actions used to cost 1 credit when this tutorial was recorded. They now cost 0.2 credits with the most recent update. 5x cheaper 🎉
