Excellent, no annoying music, no gabbling , no mumbling, no dashing about, just clear instructions on how to do things, not like alot of other videos I have tried to follow, thank you for your time.
Just the most thorough series of tutorials I've seen in a long time. He takes you literally step by step to learn not just how to use Tinkercad, but also some of the concepts of 3D printing that you need to know to start designing in a calm, patient tone. Seems like he'd be an amazing teacher. A million stars.
Very informative. I watched all 6. Yesterday I knew absolutely nothing. Now I'm able to create. I really appreciate how detailed & professional Eddie made these videos..no cats, kids ringing phone in the background. Just straight up information. Thanks
Very many thanks. Just what I need. I built a Reprap printer in 2011 but couldn’t get the hang of it. Now thanks to you and Robert Murray Smith I have brought it back to life and am getting on well with it. Thank you.
Sometimes a persuasive voice in the background helps to listen in more attentively. I am sure i will see the entire series , God willing . Thank you Mr.Eddie.
As someone is completely new to Tinkercad, this video is a great introduction on the features, Just absolutely fabulous! I’m so glad I’ve found this video. ❤
I'm relying on this awesome video tutorial in the high school intro to robotics course I teach again this year. I found this series during the COVID lockdown in the spring and it was a life-saver for my students, who spent much of the spring working in Tinkercad. Kudos to the tutorial's producer/writer/narrator (I do not know him)! The videos are just the right length and easy to follow, getting a complete newbie up to speed quickly and easily. And most importantly, students can access them when sitting at home in front of a Chromebook. And yes, students can use Tinkercad with a Chromebook without too much difficulty.
Thank you for the kind message 🙏. I also created an exercise competency assessment page. Check description of video. Wish you and your students all the best!
@@PromoAmbitions Adding the the competency assessment page was awesome! I've made a monetary contribution for your efforts. Perhaps some time this year if you have 10-15 minutes you could do a Google Meet with my intro to robotics class where you talk about what you work on professionally? You would need no preparation for this.
Transferred to a new school 4 weeks into the school year and got thrown into a 3D modeling class. Teacher didn’t explain anything so this was really helfpul
Having developed a interest in 3 d printing for my hobby of Amatuer radio, I found your tutorials very helpful, and I itend to carry on getting to know the program. thank you for your efforts.
I use a mouse. Doesn't bother me what other think....lol.. Thanks for making these videos. Love the way you present them. Looking forward to seeing more on Tinkercad. I'm a beginner so hopefully you will have lots on here... Thank you again for your time you lost by making them..
I've been fumbling my way around Tinkercad now for several months and most of it is pretty intuitive. I've even managed to design several objects. I learned at least 4 things from just this first video that I didn't know. Looking forward to watching the rest.
thank you for this tutorial, I am a tech teacher and use Solidworks at school. Since school is closed i needed to find something to use with me students that they could use at home. thanks for helping me stay one step ahead of my students.
I'm a very critical person who hates poorly executed instructional videos. I'm happy to say that this was well done. It's very rare to find a video that's thorough without someone rambling and wasting my time. It's also done in a systematic and orderly fashion and your audio is well recorded. Looking forward to the rest of your videos.
Started trying to design my first 3D print using Fusion 360... Gave up and thought I'd learn to walk before running... This tutorial covers EVERYTHING in TinkerCAD. It's really nicely broken down and presented very professionally and in great detail... Thanks for the effort in creating this... I'm off to make my first design now... Oh and if you're looking to learn, do make sure to watch all 6 of the videos created as they follow on nicely on from each other
Thanks for sharing this series of videos. I’m just beginning my journey into robotics and planning on designing my DIY projects. Possibly creating 3D parts plus electronic components & circuits. At least that’s what I’m hoping.
Great video. I didnt see that you had updated this video until after I watched the entire thing, but it is still accurate for what you covered. New subscriber. Thanks!
Fantastic series. I know the basics but each video has showed me so many new steps and shortcuts. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach this in a way it is easy to use and understand.
Great newbie tutorial! The best TinkerCAD tutorial I’ve found! I learned some things myself, and sent the series to a friend that’s just starting 3D printing and design :)
This tutorial was very helpful and easy to watch. CAD is new to me, but looking forward to the next video and then to creating some models. Thank you for putting in the time to make the tutorial.
Thanks for the great tutorial! The shortcut about duplicating objects an equal distance apart from each other is especially handy. Also, I saw in another video that if you change the size of a shape by dragging it, you are actually stretching the shape, which is why, as you mention, Tinkercad gets "confused" when you stretch a shape and then try to change its size numerically. The stretching effect is not noticeable with a cube, but you can see it with a shape like the Spring or the ISO Metric Thread.
Very Great tutorial! Thanks! If I may also add (idk if this was mentioned in other videos) If you're only using your touchpad, press ctrl + double tap = to change view of the object or platform and press ctrl + shift + double tap = to move the platform around
I thought when I first started watching, "Ok, I'll watch, "just in case I don't' know something" Well, you showed me a few shortcuts, so ty, I'm now sub'd and I liked the video and will be watching more...cheers! THANK YOU!
Thanks for taking a few minutes to appreciate it MrMG - there's six videos in total, so I'm sure you'll pick up a few more shortcuts along the way : ) Cheers!
Just finished up all 6 tutorials today so thank you very much they were super informative and helpful. I was wondering if you might know a trick to find out the inside diameter width of a wall when I import something? I'm trying to adjust several vacuum hose adapters to different sizes and there's a lot of great designs on thingiverse but when I go to edit I don't know how thick the new walls should be. I've played around with the ruler but thought there might be an easier way you knew of? Thanks again for the great tutorial
A very thorough and great detail tutorial video. I gained a great understanding about how to use Tinkercad after this first Videos. I have subscribed and eager to view next Videos. Thank You very much for your effort and time.
Thank you so much, I want to use 3d printing as an alternative to Thermoplastic sculpting. You saved me a lot of frustration with just being oriented with this program.
Great tutorial series!!! I'm through the first four and I've learned so much. Thank you for the time and effort you've put into this series and please keep them coming as long as you think of things to show.
I just signed up for Tinkercad last night to try it out and went through the "Lessons" they had and at the end was thinking "wait...wha....? How do I " .. I didn't even know how to raise an object off the grid after the lessons. Thanks for uploading these!
How do I make a cylinder with different diameters in tinkercad? I am looking to make an adapter 4" long adapter with a nice smooth taper to go from ID 55mm down to ID 35mm, with a wall of at least 2mm thick, to be 3D printed, using either Cura Slicer or Craftware Slicer ... However I cannot figure out a way to adjust top & bottom or middle parameters separately in tinkercad... All help & advice is welcomed with open arms...
Thank you for the great tutorial. At least it gives me a good start on using the program. The only thing I miss is how to drop the object back to the base plane.
would you be able to make a video showing how to make weapons for my old star wars action figures? i lost them during a move and would like to print some, but can't figure out how to use these types of software!

Just gone through all your Tinkercad tutorials...you're an excellent tutor. Thank you so much for taking the time to do them..very much appreciated!
Great explanations, even the stuff I already knew was not mundane to go over again
I already use sketchup and fusion360 but wanted a good crash course into tinkercad and that just did it. Thanks for the time and effort.
Time and effort it was! But all worth it for comments like these : ).
A great refresher on Tinker
