A couple of things I didn’t mention in the video: - Jesus Luzardo I decided not to include because reports suggest the Marlins won’t trade him until at least the offseason. I thought maybe there could be a chance a week ago teams could still inquire about him, but the Marlins would be selling low. It’s possible he’s still moved, but a team would have to desperate and believe in him being healthy. - I didn’t include Randy Arozarena because he’s having a poor season and has a good amount of control left. Because of this, it might be difficult for the Rays to move on from him, and they might not get enough back for him to make it worthwhile considering he’s fan favorite. I think there’s a chance he could be moved, but I’m leaning more no at this point. - The Cubs could end up buying if they continue to play well. I think there’s a good chance that happens, but still wanted to mention they could sell some pieces. - The Red Sox are going to win the World Series.
Do you think the Mariners should sell then? They need some serious help offensively if they hope to have any shot at the playoffs this year. I don't think their current pace is sustainable without some help to the offense.
Next video can you please check the alignment of the screen you're using. Most of the information on the left side of the screen was cutoff. Couldn't read anything and that side usually has all the information about who we're talking. I could see stats, but I'd have no clue who they belong to
Why should the Mets sell? Especially if they keep winning. Right now they lead the 3rd wild card. They have overcome a wretched bullpen and their best pitcher is coming back in early August: Kodai Senga. So is Marte. Just because they have a bunch of free agents doesn't mean they can acquire top prospects for rentals
Jazz is a great fit in Seattle. Mariners have the prospects to get it done and he can play above average at 2B/corner OF. Plus throw in Tanner Scott and it’s a W
If Rooker can play a serviceable LF, i’m more than willing to go all in and trade Justin Crawford for him. Erceg would also fit. Ward or De La Cruz would be nice back up options. Those teams can also attach a bullpen piece.
Latest reports I've seen about Trout says he's looking to return late July. I wonder if the Angels would entertain trading him. Probably not though but boy would that be crazy if he was traded. P.S Elfin, Randy combo would be a great pickup for The Phillies. He can provide multiple innings out of The Pen or be there for a spot start.
I don’t think the royals trade for rooker. 2 years ago the royals couldn’t fix him and just let him walk out the door. Turn the page on that one. It would just make the front office look bad
I think the Phillies could use mason miller the most. Him and Robert both make sense but I think Miller would be more valuable for them. I would trade anyone in their farm except Aidan Miller and preferably not Painter. Great video
If the Angels trade Rengifo instead of extending him I'd question what this team intends to do with Trouts waning prime. A 2-3 year rebuild still fits a timeline in which you extend Rengifo for 3-4 years after his last arb year.
@@rhyde it is but Trout isnt getting any younger. They need to have a competitive team soon and keeping a proven talent like Rengifo while he is still relatively young and in his prime should take precedent over gambling with prospects. Trade everyone on the team not named Neto, OHoppe, Trout, Joyce, and Rengifo.
Orioles fan. I'll bang the drum in line with your comment about Orioles fans: no to Basallo and Mayo for Crochet. I'm concerned about the innings limit. If you deal a lot to get him then have to be creative to manage his innings I feel like that's a reach. Also, the Orioles may need Mayo this year for the stretch run, they really need another RH bat and he could be it. Basallo: he's the only legit catcher in the farm system and as early as 25 he could be the backup and eventually start more to give Rutschman some additional rest as a DH. I would love for the Orioles to get Crochet...this winter.
I can respect this! Tbh, the more time that passes, sure the Orioles can afford it, but the more I think about it a team like the Dodgers would be a better fit for Crochet. I could see the Orioles going after someone like Eovaldi. If they really wanted to add a stud that would cost a lot, maybe Mason Miller, but I can’t see the Orioles doing that.
@@rhyde I'm fully with you on Eovaldi. That's the guy I want. As far as Miller, if they were going to give up a massive package I'd be good with doing it for Miller. He helps now, has control, no innings limit and could eventually be a starter if they chose
Thank you my friend 🫡 I wouldn’t say targeting, but something can always come up. Bell is having a down year like I said, but if the Marlins can get rid of him, that would be a plus.
@rhyde I think DH I personally wanna trade off goldschmidt and put Burleson at first then siani in center noot in right donny in left obviously willy behind the dish and arenado at third and winn at short then edman and gorman can rotate at 2nd depending on the matchup
I like Robert, but the White Sox ask for wayyyyyyy to much in return on their guys. Package probably starts with Goldy and Walker plus a few others. White Sox GM is greedy
Rooker is a much better fit for the Cardinals than Jazz. Siani has been the best defensive centerfielder in the NL. He has saved more runs with highlight catches than anybody else. Pitching both starter and reliever are even more needed.
@scottcrocker1369 It would probably take at least Walker possibly more. Mozaliak would never do it, but include Mason Miller, and we would be able to send a Hence, Suggesse, or a combination of others. The upside for the Cardinals would be immediately felt.
Siani can’t hit, so I wonder if that becomes an issue because STL really needs more offense. Great glove, but at this point he seems more like a 4th OF. I personally can’t see Rooker there. He doesn’t fit anywhere unless someone loses a spot. If he plays LF, then where does one of Donovan/Burleson go? I don’t think Gorman would lose playing time either. Also, as of right now, it would probably just be a straight up swap if you did Walker.
@rhyde Rooker plays right, and DH, Donovan goes to second base and third as needed. Gorman some second base and DH. especially after this year, Burleson needs to replace Goldschmidt at first base. Mozaliak won't do any of it, but if a contender would take Goldschmidt for say a Clayton Beeter, everything would fit better for now and the future.
@@rhyde I personally think it would take more than just Walker given how he’s struggled at the big league level. I would do Walker and Gorman for Rooker and possibly someone like Scott Alexander so then Burrleson could slot in at DH and Rooker could take an OF spot or vice versa and then they get some bullpen help as well
@@rhyde yeah I understand I don’t think the Cardinals are as good as the record shows either and that’s who the Cubs got over the weekend before the All Star Break
he's been an absolute horse. his velocity hasn't even begun to dip in the late innings yet, still touching 99 in the 6th and 7th. if he breaks down, he hasn't shown signs of it

The Red Sox will make the playoffs, I think they have enough talent to go on a crazy run too
Do you think the Mariners should sell then? They need some serious help offensively if they hope to have any shot at the playoffs this year. I don't think their current pace is sustainable without some help to the offense.

Come home Zach....your red pinstripes are waiting

Rooker is going to philly and will play LF - Marsh will play CF. That move will be the icing on the cake for the Phillies
This is what I want
Me too! And Mason Miller. Just make up a huge package for Miller and Rooker, and I don't care what we have to give up for them. GO PHILS!
If Rooker can play a serviceable LF, i’m more than willing to go all in and trade Justin Crawford for him. Erceg would also fit. Ward or De La Cruz would be nice back up options. Those teams can also attach a bullpen piece.

This theory of trout getting traded never happens
Trout doesn’t want to be traded
Don’t leave us Belli 🙏
Also on the Marlins is JT Chargois

I don’t think the royals trade for rooker. 2 years ago the royals couldn’t fix him and just let him walk out the door. Turn the page on that one. It would just make the front office look bad
Salvador Perez might be the Royals DH. Freddy Fermin has had an excellent season behind the plate for the Royals
True! I think you could still find room for Rooker though
I think the Phillies could use mason miller the most. Him and Robert both make sense but I think Miller would be more valuable for them. I would trade anyone in their farm except Aidan Miller and preferably not Painter. Great video
Watching this as an A's fan.....knowing we dont spend money...but coping hard.
Imagine bo bichett on royals
Him and bobby witt jr will be a really good hitting and fast speed due
Brewers may shock and go all on in

They need one starter maybe two now! Stop hoarding the prospects!
As a Braves fan, I want Rooker to come here
Vlad definitely isnt being moved, and bo isnt being moved even though I think he should
I like your channel Robbie. You’re one of the better commenters on baseball. But buddy, nobody around the league is targeting Paul Dejong or Josh Bell
Thank you my friend 🫡 I wouldn’t say targeting, but something can always come up. Bell is having a down year like I said, but if the Marlins can get rid of him, that would be a plus.
Chris bassit on the Red Sox would be nice
I would like to see Eloy Jimenez to the cardinals
Astros are number 1 for pitchers on the IL. We were at 10
Is Flaherty not already in a big ballpark??
If the Cardinals send Herrera, Scott, and Hjerpe for Rooker do you think that gets done? Who says no if not?
I think that would actually be too much 😂 my question is where does Rooker play?
@rhyde I think DH I personally wanna trade off goldschmidt and put Burleson at first then siani in center noot in right donny in left obviously willy behind the dish and arenado at third and winn at short then edman and gorman can rotate at 2nd depending on the matchup
Rooker would be such a huge add I'd give up that package for him
With Crochets injury from last year and his innings, make him a non-starter for playoff teams. UNLESS they would use him in the pen.
I think he could still be a good weapon for the Orioles or Dodgers in the pen. Moreso the Dodgers I think.
Ppl don’t understand that Crochet is very close to being shut down for the season.
Ahh yes Tommy Pham of the White Sox but wearing a Mets uniform 😭
Idk why I just noticed this 😂
Look, I'm fine with fedde and pham going, but i would hate to see Robert and grochet go
Dear MLB,
Please don’t trade good players to the Dodgers. They already are paying all the good players. Don’t help them by gifting them more talent
Rooker for AJ Smith Sawyer and Bryce Elder
A’s decline
Luis Robert as a cardinal would be so fun man. Goldy and prospects for Robert.
I like Robert, but the White Sox ask for wayyyyyyy to much in return on their guys. Package probably starts with Goldy and Walker plus a few others. White Sox GM is greedy
why would the white sox wanna get older😂
Goldy doesn’t have any value for the White Sox. Maybe negative value.
@@camerongremmels4270 just want him off my team thats all lol
@@scottcrocker1369yea we don't need him I'd much rather go after rooker if we get anyone from the socks I like Erick fedde
I think Tanner Scott is a Top 5 trade candidate
Based off fWAR he wouldn’t be top 10, but if he fills a big need for a team’s bullpen, then it could end up being a huge move.

Cubs have won 5 of there last 6
This is why I mentioned them in the honorable mentions

Dansby Swanson completely dissapeared. Crazy how bad he's been.

Rays too
You missed Tarik Skubal. Best pitcher in baseball.
He’s not getting moved imo.

Better start winning some more games! Looking good lately though 👀
They have to sell sadley😢😢😢
Orioles Need Crochet
You think they would be willing to do a kjerstad and Coby mayo to get crochet?
HD please.
Free Ryan McMahon
Belli to the Yankees.
