Nice it's a start..live is for living..yet times are rough..take it slow enjoy.. that corner of the bed you can get a tiny bookshelf for books or nicknacks..wow bills should be included..
Thank you for sharing you nice looking apartment. That is great to have your washer/dryer inside your place...And you will get a TV soon...The balcony has a great view looking at the street there!!!! Nice😊
@@Jason_lai You are welcome. Enjoy your apartment. I am all the way here in the U.S. in Chicago. And yes, I know how it is to look for an apartment. But it is always nice to look for different designs that people like in many apartments.
a pro tip I got is to look at the tube line that your university is at. If someone looks far away but is on the same tube line it might be quicker to get to your uni than to live somewhere closer but in another line meaning you have to change tubes/bus!
Other than Clapham I know Brixton is quite popular too. Depends on where you are working, some of the east London areas have a lot of cool new builds and a lot of people also choose places like Stratford, or even North London (e.g. Angel) which is usually more expensive.
Thank you haha. Bills ended up being a bit higher but close enough. I have flatmates to share my bills with and I was lucky that my flat was in council tax band A
The neighbourhood is very nice and quiet. Mostly working adults I assume, I have bumped into one neighbour and she was lovely. The area feels nice and safe Ill say
For London I think this flat is fairly sized. But yea definitely, anything in London you’re paying for the area and the more central you go the more that is true

Thank you! Yes times are rough but we all have to make the most out of what we already have :))
Nice, I actually prefer the smaller room since it’s walkable with headspace but the other room has a cool loft vibe too. Great vid
Hey yea I totally agree! Which is why I picked the room below. Felt more useable and practical

£30.00 per person for bills? You are dreaming. I'm paying that for water alone.
yea I’m on the optimist side probably hahaha. God bless everyone during the energy crisis!!
Average in Landon for me …60£ for elec and gas(summers) + council tax 180 + water (30) …30£ for bill for us is a generation ago…..
Probably looking at around £300 a month in total for Elec/Gas/Water/Council Tax/Insurance/Internet....
Be prepared for £200-300 bills per person in two bed flat in London
This isn't meant to be a comedy video but the £30 a month comment got me. If that actually happens, please let me know your energy suppliers. Haha
Yea it is a bit optimistic haha. Ended up paying a bit more but not too much higher. I have flatmate to share with so probably why I pay less.
Beautiful video and love your apartment. Love from Zambia 🇿🇲
Thanks!
Super cool apartment - where did you get your tee shirt tho! 😂
good questions haha. I think I got it from Urban Outfitters!
I love this flat, this is quite nice for London. I live in Landmark Pinnacle so the rooms are all square and the same 😅
Yea thank you!! I feel you- but with some decorations and care I’m sure you can make it more warm and home-y :)
On the search currently. Looking in East because that's where the University is, but would make a commute for something like this.

Why would you open your fridge & freezer door if not in the kitchen? Doors are fine
Omg! Your house is neat!
Trying to keep it that way haha

Thank you! Yes the rent is very high but that‘s why I will try make the most out of it and be grateful that I can afford it haha
@@Jason_lai Glad for u mate!
Would you recommend any other areas in Zone 2 which are suitable for young professionals working in London?
North Greenwich
