once in a while my cows also do that to the stop button of the automated walkway liquid manure pusher of our free stall barn. because its just in their reach and such an nice red button...
yep they are expensive but if you could do more imoprtant work instead while a robot do the repeatwork. robots can milk the cow also, search up delaval vms milking
Mark McKinley well, in a big farm its alot of money going in and out anyways. its all about effiency and smart work. whats matter is the result in the end!
Thank you so much for showing how it works, what it does, and talking about when and why you got it. I was very interested in that little droid! You answered all of my questions
what a gift that little machine is for you and your farm!! I'm sure it wasn't "free", but over the years, it frees you up for other jobs machines cannot do. It's so quiet, the cows don't mind it, and it really does a good job! Thank you for sharing.
Im glad he finnaly did a video on this feed pusher i knew what it was and what it did it was just interesting to me and i wanted to know more about it keep up the good work my man with your wholesome chilled out videos they truly give me pleasure to come in here once or twice a week to see how the cows are doing and see how yalls operation works
Nice vid man. It's really cool seeing how different dairy farms are all over the world. I work on a dairy farm in New Zealand and it's run really different to how you guys do it.
Ha!!! The jokes on you, there was nothing wrong with the button, it was just one of the cows messing with you by pushing it just to watch you have to come out and fix it!!!!
So nice to see Dairy Farming, the animals are so cared for, have had co-workers that came from Dairy farms and they are the best workers I have ever seen.
Thanks for another video hope you had a great day. I just did a feed way with stainless floor in front of the cattle. Would you ever use stainless if you were going to do it over again or tile.
My dad is a farmer in holland and it's really weird tot see how you guys do things, but also really interesting and informatieve Keep up the good work!
That is a very cool machine to keep their food accessible and a time saver for you guys as well. I saw something on 'automated milk stations' the other day where a cow could just walk up to it when she 'wanted/needed'' to. Really enjoy seeing all of the processes involved in your farms' operation- never gets old. Kind of mind blowing, the technology in the dairy industry. 👍😃🐮🥛
Hey, eric, what would you say is you're favorite machine or tool you guys have. (Functionability, user comatibility, ease of use, or just plain looks cool?
I was curious Do you ever have any Displaced abdomens, Milk fever or Uterine problems (vet work footage) that people here could learn some of the hardships that go along with dairy farming? If you don't? Your very good at what you do!!!!
I am a newer subscriber to your channel and am really enjoying watching. I really liked this one as I had not ever seen one of these robots before and find it really interesting. I have started watching a lot of the farming channels as I love to watch and hear about farming. I am not a farmer .I spent my years as a young boy on my grandpa's dairy farm in the late 50's early 60's and loved it.
Attention all of you who rushed to yell at me for suggesting this young man speak like he speaks normally, well? Listen to the difference!!!! Way to go kid!!! You sound great. National Geographic is gonna have you commentating for them. Like night and day difference.
on first sight i thought its like a room cleaning robot, sweeping the ground. but its really "just" a pusher, thats why it needs the additional weight. very simple yet very interesting, never saw one of those before
Nice job, could you do a piece on your cows like there sires ,yield , ideal type of cow for your system etc after all they deserve some coverage as the pay the bills
Hey so I've watched all of you're videos now. Love them. Quick question though. One of the crops you plant I can never tell what you're saying when you tell us what it is. Sounds like shredded cow? Treaded cow? Something like that.
Nice gadget and worth it,if it frees you up-to do more important things. Could you put a strap/cover over top of the red button to keep nosey cows from hitting it but still let you access it? Just a thought... thanks for sharing!
Bummer love your vlogs wished it was longer. I love to learn something new everyday and believe it or not your vlog teaches me things I never knew. Truly enjoy watching. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I'm just your typical person who took for granted walking into a grocery store to buy a gallon of milk. Never knowing how much work it takes to make it there. PS what Brand do you own ? Or is it for all brands? Thank you again. Grateful milk drinker. Sincerely Michelle Pup Harley and Kitty Liam Arlington Massachusetts.
What part of Pennsylvania is your family farm located? I live in Gettysburg, PA and would love to come check out y'alls farm. I grew up on a red Angus farm in Frederick county, MD.
10th Generation Dairyman but then it would need an operator / I think anything that gives you a break is awesome. If I could I’d work for you or any farmer like you for free, I love your awesome farm life
I notice that with a lot of Eric’s equipment and wonder if they would suffer less from breakdowns etc. if machinery was cleaned more often. I suppose they are just too busy keeping the cows milked & fed and the silage growing to worry about a bit of dust & grime.
Ahh, R2D2 turned his back on the bright lights of Hollywood and retired to the quiet life of a country farmer.
hahaha yep
That’s definitely funny
I was going to make a skynet joke but your's is better mate.
Priceless
hahaha I was totally going to make that joke but you beat me to it
I would be so tempted to paint a face on the feed pusher :D
Kamio Chambless / I like the way you think
The cows were pushing the button to prank you guys. 😁
that was my first thought. However, the bot helps them, so any cow doing that will suffer peer pressure to stop.
once in a while my cows also do that to the stop button of the automated walkway liquid manure pusher of our free stall barn. because its just in their reach and such an nice red button...
The fact that your so young but educated in almost everything you touch is amazing too see
Welcome to farming
He isnt that young y’know. He’s married and stuff
I honestly never would have thought a machine like that existed.
look up the price of one.I almost had a heart attack.
yep they are expensive but if you could do more imoprtant work instead while a robot do the repeatwork.

Tell robot to fetch a mountain dew. Haha
Half expecting a Mountain Dew in the machine on lid flip
Lely needs a bath or at least a dusting lol 😂 thanks for another interesting dairy subject, thanks sharing your great farm life!
Looks like it's time to wire brush some of that rust, and give her a Hot Rod Paint Job. 😊
I found your channel a little bit ago and ever since I started watching I’ve wanted to work on a farm
Wow! Never would have thought this would even exist. Thank YOU so much as always! Eric, you just crunch it!
Skynet has eyes everywhere, even on dairy farms.
That is really cool! Amazing what people come up with to help people get jobs done! Thanks for showing us the pusher, great video!
Good Job Eric, you folks make being a farmer the very thing to be....
I really enjoy watching the videos. Glad to see the care you take of your herd.
Yes Mr Robot. Glad he came by and he works cheap. Thans for the video, quite imformative
You young man are about yours and your fathers business you're an excellent steward. your father ,im sure is proud.
Pretty darn cool! Who woulda thunk? Thx for sharing
Your like Luke Skywalker with your work robots. So cool.
We’ve got 2 of them in our barns and definitely wouldn’t want to do without them.
Nice video. It is amazing that people didn't notice the feed pusher sooner. It's been in your videos since you started.
Little does he know a cow was pressing it

Now Luke, I want those droids cleaned up before dinner.
Automation is great for busy people like you!
Thanks for another video hope you had a great day. I just did a feed way with stainless floor in front of the cattle. Would you ever use stainless if you were going to do it over again or tile.
Tile works good, I don't have experience with stainless but it's probably a nice option.

So cool and I agree with a previous comment, the cows were pushing the button to mess with you 😁
“Kinda minds it’s own business” lololololololol
So do you set the distance the feed stays away from the wall? I love your videos, thank you for sharing.

We have one of those at our dairy farm. It’s super handy to have when it works right
Super cool machine! Question: Can we get just a quick introduction of the women of the farm? Your wife and your mom? PLEASE!
Name it R2moo2. I think your job is safe for now. Blessings!
Love the new machine.
Always wondered if those worked well.

Man, for the newer junos, you have to use Lely control plus
Nice vid eo now you need to fix a speaker to it and get it to whistle as it goes about its work .like most stockmen do .

Oh yeah 115K in subscribers and climbing
What a simple task it performs but a necessary tool
The college where I work at has one along with two robots for milking. Also they have one for scraping the slats. Called discovery I think.
very nice machine wish I had one back in my farming days

The quarantine brought me here lol
In the 50s we had a wonderful broom! One of us pushed it?!
How much is that robot to buy .
Great vid.
I have the Next Generation Juno. I would not want to farm without it after having 6 months.
To an old guy like me, tractor with a blade more dependable.

What do you think about vertical farming for crops?
Do you have alley scrapers or do you scrape with skid steer?
Hola saludos desde mexico 🇲🇽❤️
Neat!
Mischievous cows are pushing that button.
Cool thing 😎
Hey, I know. How about taking a vacuum and cleaning it? Maybe keep the dust out of the electronics? Maybe?
Or just an air compressor on a blow gun
