    what a gift that little machine is for you and your farm!! I'm sure it wasn't "free", but over the years, it frees you up for other jobs machines cannot do. It's so quiet, the cows don't mind it, and it really does a good job! Thank you for sharing.

      yep they are expensive but if you could do more imoprtant work instead while a robot do the repeatwork.
      robots can milk the cow also, search up delaval vms milking

      that was my first thought. However, the bot helps them, so any cow doing that will suffer peer pressure to stop.

      once in a while my cows also do that to the stop button of the automated walkway liquid manure pusher of our free stall barn. because its just in their reach and such an nice red button...

    Im glad he finnaly did a video on this feed pusher i knew what it was and what it did it was just interesting to me and i wanted to know more about it keep up the good work my man with your wholesome chilled out videos they truly give me pleasure to come in here once or twice a week to see how the cows are doing and see how yalls operation works

    Nice vid man. It's really cool seeing how different dairy farms are all over the world. I work on a dairy farm in New Zealand and it's run really different to how you guys do it.

    That is a very cool machine to keep their food accessible and a time saver for you guys as well. I saw something on 'automated milk stations' the other day where a cow could just walk up to it when she 'wanted/needed'' to. Really enjoy seeing all of the processes involved in your farms' operation- never gets old. Kind of mind blowing, the technology in the dairy industry. 👍😃🐮🥛

    I am a newer subscriber to your channel and am really enjoying watching. I really liked this one as I had not ever seen one of these robots before and find it really interesting. I have started watching a lot of the farming channels as I love to watch and hear about farming. I am not a farmer .I spent my years as a young boy on my grandpa's dairy farm in the late 50's early 60's and loved it.

    Thanks for another video hope you had a great day. I just did a feed way with stainless floor in front of the cattle. Would you ever use stainless if you were going to do it over again or tile.

      Tile works good, I don't have experience with stainless but it's probably a nice option.

    on first sight i thought its like a room cleaning robot, sweeping the ground.
    but its really "just" a pusher, thats why it needs the additional weight.
    very simple yet very interesting, never saw one of those before

    I was curious Do you ever have any Displaced abdomens, Milk fever or Uterine problems (vet work footage) that people here could learn some of the hardships that go along with dairy farming? If you don't? Your very good at what you do!!!!

    Nice gadget and worth it,if it frees you up-to do more important things. Could you put a strap/cover over top of the red button to keep nosey cows from hitting it but still let you access it? Just a thought... thanks for sharing!

    The college where I work at has one along with two robots for milking. Also they have one for scraping the slats. Called discovery I think.

      I notice that with a lot of Eric’s equipment and wonder if they would suffer less from breakdowns etc. if machinery was cleaned more often. I suppose they are just too busy keeping the cows milked & fed and the silage growing to worry about a bit of dust & grime.
