I love it when your old videos show up in my feed. Just watched this one and it's amazing to see how much the farm has changed in just over four years.
Nice video, Eric. I will never cease to be amazed at how orderly, clean, and well managed you guys run your dairy farm. Glad to see you give that cow the medicine she needs to get well. Good job!
I must say that i really enjoy watching yor videos 👍 It is always nice to see that there are people out there who is not afraid of getting their hands dirty doing a honest days work. You really deserve my subscription!!
Good job Eric, Another good video as usual Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to film these videos for us to follow along keep up the good work!!!
I am sure all your subscribers (as do I) appreciate the time and effort in filming & editing your vlogs all while running a Dairy farm. Many thanks and have Blessed & Joyful Christmas season.
Another interesting and informative video. Better yet, a life lesson where you never say "that's good enough." You always do that little extra, and that is impressive. Good job!
It's fun going back an rewatching these older videos. This is "back in the day" before the Kubota skid steer and when they still had the New Holland. I can but I can't believe this video has almost 1.8 million views but Eric only has 372K subs. This channel is one of the premier farming videos IMHO. I've watched several but this the one look forward to seeing every week.
If you ever wanted to film... oh say 10-15 mins of 'just' the cute little calves and their antics, we sure wouldn't complain. They're adorable with their little coats on!! 🐮👍❤
Love watching these and relating to so much! 😂 Every time you think you’ve mastered the skid steer a post or a wall jumps in the way and wrecks you’re confidence! 😂
Sure is alot of manual work as far as cleaning bedding goes. Good efficient systems in place. Must compliment you and your dad on a clean, well run tidy setup. Looks amazingly clean and well organised.
Hi Eric love your videos. We have a beef and sheep farm in Yorkshire, England and celebrated our centenary of farming here last year! All the best Ashley Caton
Busy, busy days. That spreader does a nice job on that pen pack and if I was running that skid steer cleaning that barn there would be no barn left by the time I was done. lol. Another great video. Thanks.
I enjoy watching your videos. Inserting the mountain dew clips are hilarious!! You’ve got one of the hardest jobs on earth and you do it well. I can tell you take pride in your family farm.
You put in a good days work man. It has to be a huge load off your Dad's shoulders knowing that things will get done if he is gone for the day. You guys make a good team.
I think I would tear out the short perimeter concrete wall under the fence rails and reinstall the rails but with the ability to open and close each section so you can drive straight into each of the pens. A little work but would save time and damage to the building in the long run. Thanks for the videos. It's relaxing watching what work is done on a farm to me.
Not too many issues or breakdowns today, a blessing when you are working alone. Hope we get a family dairy Christmas picture. Thanks for another terrific video.
What I see is Mark is doing the little things too. Not just shoveling out the 6 months of buildup but cleaning off the ledges. That is the difference between an owner and an employee, tradesman and grunt. Most would just dig out the majority and call it good. Mark gets every pound of crap out of there before rebedding!!
Nice to see young people work like you do. I used to work every spare minute I had, when I was a teenager some 40 years ago, on the neighbours dairyfarm. For that time it was a big farm in the Netherlands with around 100 cows, 20.000 chickens and Maschinework for other (smaller) farms as well. Always a lot of work ( and repairments) to do. I loved doing it and learned a lot there!
I have literally binged watched all your videos and now i'm waiting for more and more. Keep up the great work. Might start working on a Dairy farm myself at this rate XD
I recall watching the silage harvest from the beginning thinking wow that's a lot. Watching you mix the feed makes me think, I hope you have enough to get through the winter. I'm sure you have done this many many times before but WOW is all that comes to mind.
Every time you film the milking parlor I think of my time at my families operration. One of the largest in Dekalb county Indiana. That smell is so distinctive. I love this channel man. You should make a Christmas list for us to buy you for your efforts, no joke
An hour and a half twice a day to feed would give my dad a stroke. Our articulated loader broke a cable and using the back up tractor took us 90 minutes instead of 60 for the day; worked an extra hour tonight when the parts came so he couldn't complain tomorrow :P Props for the work ethic and drive to farm and share videos constantly.
Hello Eric for you it's just another day on the farm for me it's another day of learning don't get me wrong we used to do a lot by hand a great video thanks👍🇺🇸
It's so cool how you get the silage out of the clamp! I've never seen anything like that. But of course I haven't watched but a few different farmers' videos and have no experience whatsoever myself...keep the videos coming! Love from Alabama...
Hey I’m a big fan of your Channel and I love watching you on a skid loaders I really think you should probably get a track skid loader because I really love watching you and it’s really fun watching skid loader’s
THE HOOF GP sent me and I'm SO glad he did! New Sub here 😊 I find all this stuff fascinating ( boring to you I'm sure) . Your cattle are well taken care of by the looks of it which is wonderful. I really appreciate the variety of views you give us. I look forward to watching more
I am always impressed by your work ethic. It needs to be done, we’ll get it done. It’s all about the health of the cows. Very few people get to see the connection between their labor, their product and their wallet like you do.
For those wondering what the farmer eats for breakfast, there is probably a small "first breakfast", such as toast and coffee, just after rising, followed by a heartier second breakfast after the first round of chores is done. The second breakfast would consist of coffee and pastries or some sausages served with pretzels, sweet mustard, and wheat beer. Mini quiche made with cheese, bacon, or vegetables; a honey nut cake and marmalade; hash (potatoes, leeks, spinach, and cheese); ham omelet made with curry spices, onions, and tomatoes; and biscuits topped with sausage, eggs, and a smothering of gravy. Perhaps ending with a light dessert like chocolate pudding or kisiel.
I love that there are still family farms! Glad you decided to join your family’s farm. Hello from horse country (Florida). Btw Hoof GP said we should check out ur channel
Hi thanks a lot a very enjoyable video just Love clean pens and watching them eat!! No snow ❄️ that’s it I’m leaving Michigan heading to Pennsylvania 😂 Lol
I'm from New Zealand and most things we do is by hand, tractors post rammers, and a spade lol. There is one thing missing in this video clip, "where is the dew drink" lol
Thank you for yet another great video!! A special thank you for the time you put into making & editing each and every video! I have a couple of questions. Do y'all trim and maintain all of your cows hooves?? Or do you have someone come in and do it? The cow you gave the shot to, with the infection in her front foot, does it have anything to do with something found while trimming up her hoof?? Any way you could do a birthing video?? Then show all you do with the calf from birth to ear tag, shots, colostrum, placed in the calf barn?? Would be interesting to see your process from birth to pen for both the calf & mother......maybe a 2 part video?? Please keep up the great videos!!!
I love it when your old videos show up in my feed. Just watched this one and it's amazing to see how much the farm has changed in just over four years.
Growing up my dad worked on a dairy farm in Minnesota. He would always take me to work with him. This brings back so many memories! Thanks!
Even the old packed bedding gets reused. You guys are the masters of recycling!! 👍👍👍

Excellent job man. Great driving too. Amazing how deep the bedding got to.
The cows are so cute, I can't! Love seeing you treat them so nicely 👏
I always find your video's very relaxing, it distracts me from the hard things in life sometimes. Keep up the good work Eric!

with cows timing is everything i admire your care of the cows,
lonnie jacobs Oliver. Hej. Mror
I find it is very hard to teach them to tell time and even more difficult to keep the wrist watch on their leg.

Good job man. Lots of work in a day! You gotta love that skid steer!

Imagine how life would be without a skid loader
Thinkin the same thing
lol...yep
kory league my grandpa always said when you buy a skid steer you fire your hand
Would a wheel loader be more effective in feeding and possibly still be able to be used in the many other tasks around the dairy?
We had to clean everything with shovels, pitch forks and wheelbarrows....it was great!
Is it just me or is it satisfying that the manure that came from the pens looked awesome when he took it out. 3’
If I ran that skidsteer in those tight quarters I would probably knock the barn down. Awesome skills
Thats called dedication and hardwork.
#1 Fan of yours from India
I like your action shots man!
Great job! Keep the videos coming!
Look forward to these great videos! Love all different angles and views
