We woke up one morning to Dolphins swimming along the coast of Davao Oriental. I heard they can be found in different areas here... and well, with the help of my drone, we were able to get a unique perspective on them. In this unexpected adventure video, I also find myself at a hidden waterfall in the forest of a local Barangay here in Cateel. It all started with me going to buy some peanuts at a local shop on the the side of the road. Next thing you know...

The social dolphin swims in groups known as pods. ... Smaller dolphin species swim in larger groups than larger animals do. Since young dolphins grow slowly, pods provide protection for the young, as well as strength in numbers to protect the animals from sharks and other predators.
The Philippines is a country home to many animals of all shapes and sizes what saddens me is how many people here are irresponsible and always throw trash everywhere and not clean after themselves :(

How wonderful to see the dolphins near the ocean coast of Cateel (Davao Oriental). And meeting several local townfolks who are really friendly that leads to finding this hidden waterfalls in Tres Marias. Fantastic!

Unexpected video in deed. First the dolphins and then the Tres Marias waterfall. I got excited watching the dolphins swimming in your area. What a blessing to capture the moment and feel that the water in your place is good. Sharing it with these gentle creatures are mind blowing. You have a good place there in Cateel. From hunting for peanuts, which led and ended up hunting for a waterfall is unexpected. You'll never know what Tres Marias has to offer, but it was awesome in the end. Hello! I got emotional watching the dolphin segment. imho the best way for tourists to enjoy the sight of dolphins is through drone shots. Not a purist but I don't agree with travel tours that commercialize swimming with dolphins - it is best to respect them and admire from a far distance. People swimming with dolphins as if it's entertainment is not the way of nature. Great drone videos, Kulas and thanks for highlighting respect for our coastal environment Cateel is precious. 🙏
