@@namjoonchest7063 We know that but its also about their storylines! If you know about Bangtan Universe, you will get it. Jin is trying to save all of them without realizing he’s not saving himself. If this is not about the storyline, why would Jin try to save the members? But not Suga, or Tae or other members? So this MV exactly fits to the storyline. Since this isn’t their official comeback, they actually aren’t allowed to mention BU in their description.
shhh, let's not spoil. LOL But for me, it really is a part of the storyline. If you connect its trailer and the trailer of Fake Love, you'll know. 😉 Edit: I just found out that BigHit writes "BU Content" under the description box if it's a part of it.
The message of this song hits different... When you get through a situation where someone that you know disappeared in ur life and you’re just stuck there with only memories you had with that person. But you can’t bring back a certain person because you already lost them.
Film Out is actually an OST (official sound track) for a Japanese Movie called "Signal" which is basically two detectives/cops (I don't remember), one from the present and one from the past, who communicate through a radio and help each other solve crimes and catch criminals. Film out is also seen to be a continuation of the BTS Universe
that one actually confused me. it felt and was seen as a continuation but there was no BU content confirmation. But oh well... Edit: *Butter is coming on May 21st* Pre save and Pre add butter and Hope yall promote it on platforms yall use, Goodbye!
BigHit always marks things related to the storyline as BU certified. They did not do so for this MV, so we need to accept that they do *not* consider it as related to the storyline.
This is the latest part of the BTS Universe! You need to dive into their fictional storyline to understand it. It's pretty crazy and it takes a while to watch everything and understand. But you guys are smart so you'll get it if you decide to look into it. I know some ppl have compiled all the BU videos into a playlist and there are a ton of explanation videos made by armys. Just warning you: it takes up a lot of time and energy
But of course it was worth it, because the message that they carried since the beginning is really great, so i really suggest them to react to the BU 💜💜💜
I'm so glad you mentioned the BU! I only found these guys today and would totally binge watch that! Noah has so many wild ideas: dressed like a funeral (Black Swan), standing on a waffle (Butter) so I'd love to see the interpretation. xD
@@larewi6765 they actually aren’t allowed to add “BU” on their description because this isn’t their official comeback. This is for the movie. But there’s a chance that this is the continuation of their storyline. Im 💯 sure this is part of their BU.
This sounds like a song about loss and overcoming the death of a loved one. Just remembering that person in your memories and realizing that no matter how close they seem in your mind, you've lost them forever and these memories are all that's left of them and their warmth. This can also be applied to oneself :)
Their vocals are just unbelievable. They slay every song in any language. This song is Japanese! Something about bts japanese tracks makes me cry and feel comforted at the same time... The youngest member Jungkook composed and co wrote the song. Please react to more BTS MVs! Thank you sm for reacting!💜
Film out is the OST track for a movie, japan adaptation from korean drama 'Signal'. Signal is a crime thriller where the past and present collide through a mysterious walkie-talkie. Based on real unsolved murder mysteries, three detectives from 1989 and 2015 transcend time in their quest for truth and justice. The sandglass, doors, Suga Jhope mirroring each other must be related to the time travel / parallel world in the movie. (also Jin did time travel in BTS Universe to save his members, read 'Save me' webtoon if you curious about BU)
Just to explain a bit on the mv.... So this song is an OST for the Japanese version of Signal (which is originally a Korean drama). I believe there's a series and a movie and this is the OST for the movie. I haven't watched the movie but what I heard is that it uses the concept of time so BTS shows that in the mv with the hourglass, time reversing, everyone being frozen, the different doors of reality etc. Now, this has a bit of similarity with BTS's own storyline concept except that this video isn't considered an official part of the BU because there isn't "BU certified" in the description. Also at around 1.20 notice how Jin alone walks to the glass and there are the members on the other side. However, if you count them in the other room, you get seven. Because those two rooms are at different points in reality or parallel to each other. So the mv may not be officially part of the BU, however the way it's structured gives a sense of familiarity to ARMYs who know the storyline. Like for instance, there's a reason why Jin was on the other side of the glass and why he went through a certain door when he had different options. Also there are certain references to a past mv as well.
Actually, it was originally a US movie in 2000 called Frequency, then came the Korean 2016 TV series Signal. Both the movie and the Korean TV series were great. The US also did a TV series called Frequency which was on Netflix but they didn't renew it for a 2nd season. Still waiting for Signal S2..
I think you guys are more than ready to dive into the Bangtan Universe (BU), it's a series of music videos, short films and prologues, that tell a story. It's a fictional story, none of it happened to the members in real life. It's kind of deep and really interesting. I would advise you to focus more on the video than on the lyrics to understand the story for those songs, but the lyrics are pretty inspiring and well written on their own. The Bangtan Universe started in 2015 with those 3 to start : - 'I NEED U' (Original version): ruclips.net/video/jjskoRh8GTE/видео.html - The HYYH on stage: PROLOGUE ruclips.net/video/Bt8648TNX1M/видео.html - and 'RUN' ruclips.net/video/5Wn85Ge22FQ/видео.html Enjoy! ^^
YO I GOT YOU HOMIES. HERES AN EXPLANATION/RUNDOWN Ok so this music video actually ties in to their story like AKA the Bangtan Universe. This story is told through music videos. Not all of their music videos are apart of the story line. Such as idol. But others like Blood Sweat and Tears all tie together to make a whole universe that follows seven boys realizing their youth is coming to an end. Its actually been a while since we got any music videos that tied into this universe so this music video left a lot of us shook. The BTS Universe or Bangtan Universe (often shortened to BU; 방탄소년단 세계관) was initially known as The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Series, Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa Series or HYYH Series until the official name and logo were first used in 2017, is a South Korean media franchise and shared fictional universe that is centered on a series of music videos and short films, and based on characters inspired by the members of BTS. The franchise has expanded to include short stories, books, a webtoon and a visual novel. In the future is planned to release a drama of the franchise. - wiki info If you are interested in watching this story progress I will add in the order of music videos to watch. I also recommend doing your own video surfing of explanation videos (XCeleste is a good source) besides the music videos, there is a webtoon called 'Save Me' on the webtoon app created by BTS's company to REALLY explain the complicated world that is the bangtan universe I Need U I Need U original v. "HYYH On Stage: Prologue" "Run" "I Need U" (Japanese Ver.) "Run" (Japanese Ver.) "Epilogue: Young Forever" "Begin" - Jungkook (these next few are all solo songs by the boys. There are the short films, and then i reccomend watching lyric videos as well bc the short films are... well short and only have bits of the songs) "Lie" - Jimin "Stigma" - V "First Love" Suga "Reflection" - RM "Mama" - Jhope "Awake" - Jin (end of short films) "Blood Sweat & Tears" "Blood Sweat & Tears" (Japanese Ver.) "Love Yourself Highlight Reels" "Euphoria: Theme of Love Yourself Wonder" "Fake Love" Teaser 1 "Fake Love" "Fake Love" (Extended Ver.) "Epiphany" and now Film out Besides these being apart of the story line, they are also really amazing songs that I hope you listen to (other songs that are apart of this era but dont nessesarily tie into the story line) Spring Day Not Today Fire and uhh for some reason those are the ones I can remember haha. ALSO ALWAYS WATCH CREDITS HOPE THIS HELPS
@@histfictfan4460 so as seen in parts of the videos and revealed in the webtoon, V actually has... premonitions or dreams of the stuff the boys are going through. He admits this to Jin in one of Jin's time traveling attempts to fix everything, when Jin stops V from killing his abusive father, that he dreamt of situations the others were going through, which left Jin bewildered. It's speculated that V will help Jin in the effort to fix everything So in this music video, V is able to see Jin unlike the rest
@@viva_la_vidaa I have listed then in release order. So for someone who's been a BTS fan since the start- this is the order in which they would've watched them. It's hard to put the music videos in event order bc a lot of them have flashbacks or kinda jump around on the time line. I'm sure with some digging one could find a good event order to watch them in.
My parents passed away from Covid just before this song came out and it will always remind me of them. The lyrics are so perfect, sad and sweet. "2 glasses side by side, their role never fulfilled. Just as they were since you last touched them." BTS and BigHit knows the loss that so many of us have gone through this past year. Practically everyone I know has lost someone recently AND we're all still separated from everyone. We can't even comfort each other. BTS=comfort with this song. Thanks for the reaction
BTS has a storyline going on. Before diving into them, you have know all of their names properly to know each of their role in the story. I would suggest to watch some introduction video to BTS as you said you don't know much about them. 💜💜
Hello guys, thanks for the reaction, this is a beautiful song in Japanese for a movie, all BTS songs in Japanese are really incredible, you can listen to Your eyes tell, Let go, Stay Gold, Crystal Snow. The video is part of BU or BTS Universe, I still don't understand it very well but you can see the XCeleste videos where she explains very well everything that the BU involves. Please react to Love Myself, my favorite song, today I missed Noah's laugh, thanks again and a big hug from Costa Rica.
Film Out is an ost for a Japanese movie called Signal. I heard the main character is somewhat like Jin’s character in the BU storyline. (Bangtan Universe)) That’s why the music video feels like the BU.
This is a japanese song for a japanese movie but the MV has to do with the Bts universe storyline throughout bts career since 2015 i believe they started this bts storyline where jin has to save his friends aka BTS members its a lot to explain but you have to look more into their mvs and songs to understand. There are theories fans made if you want to understand the mv.
This song/video is actually kind of a part of their bu (bangtan universe), where a collection of music videos and short stories combine to make a big story, you guys can check it out if you'd like 😊 but beware, once you do, you might be very confused about some stuff lol.. Or you can just react to those mv's and short stories without going too deep into it, you'll still get the basic story 💜 I'd suggest you look at their music video "I need u" (that's where the whole thing starts) and after you see the visuals and everything, and if then you're curious for more, then you can continue the storyline 👌
This song to me is about a loss of someone you loved. And it can obviously be like a break up or just parting ways with someone in your family or group of friends, but the pain in the lyrics and some of the imagery in them to me point more to that person dying. Film Out is actually a method used in preserving footage by transferring it to a traditional film print, because it lasts longer and holds its quality longer than digital footage. So to me the song is about how when you lose someone you desperately want to remember, you're trying your hardest to preserve those memories in your mind, because there's no way for you to create new ones anymore. As far as the music video goes, the most accepted theory I see is that it's part of the Bangtan Universe. But I haven't seen the movie this song was written for, so it could also reference that. But a lot of the imagery in the MV is very reminiscent of their Bangtan Universe storyline.
Great reaction. You should do Trivia: Love by RM next, it's a great vibe with a lot of cool plays on words. Also, the scene where debris is shot through the window is a mimic of the Fake Love music video, so you should def check that out too!
this video is actually the continuation of BTS's storyline or BTS UNIVERSE. Many of their MV'S are actually based on it. There is a webtoon named Save Me on this which tells about this storyline. And BTS's new game which launched last year was also based on this. So basically Jin tries to save the other members by time travelling. A new drama based on bts universe is also gonna come this year or next year named 'YOUTH'. Therefore in this mv too he looks at them from behind the glass. And the multiple doors maybe signify how many times jin travelled in order to save them. there is a scene where jk and jin sees each other and the sand clock and then jk disappears which means he wasn't able to save him. and then he wasn't able to save V too. there are many more theories too like what if all this time jin was trying to save them but now he is trapped alone. And the room where jin is standing is same as that of fake love's room. YOU WILL HAVE TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME IN ORDER TO GET TO KNOW ABOUT BTS UNIVERSE AND THEN ONLY YOU WILL GET TO KNOW ABOUT THE MEANING OF OTHER MV'S TOO..THERE ARE VARIOUS THEORIES ON THE INTERNET TOO.. PS: MOREOVER THEIR NEW BUTTER ERA IS ALSO THOUGHT TO BE A PART OF HYYH ERA {STORYLINE} ..THE SONG IS A POP BUT THE TEASER PHOTOS RELATE TO HYYH ERA AND THAT ERA IS THE PART OF BTS UNIVERSE.. HAVE FUN GETTING TO KNOW MORE ABOUT BTS
The song itself is part of an ost for a japanese movie, but the video links back to the bts universe which they began back in 2015 and i feel like after watching the videos related to the universe you can kinda understand certain symbolism that appears in film out (such as the many doors scene)
The pain of losing someone deeply dear and you remember everything about them and your mind is full of them and when you sink in your memories of them to bring them back you feel happy for a second you forgot there gone then you remember they're gone so you break badly it feels like everything around you collapses you just want them back . That how I feel about my mom like I'm stuck in a time hole that I can't get out of just missing her deeply .
This appears to be a continuation of BTS universe (their content is extensive and very linked). The explosions and other moments mimic the video of Fake Love which I’d highly recommend. (Save me/I’m fine reverse image references). Jin is the one seen near the windows reaching out and then Tae reaching to him at the end without him there. Some feel this is a bit of a good bye. Unless they are exempted Jin will be the first to leave for his mandatory military service next year. They exist as a unit of 7. A family. A well known quote from a staff member, “They love each other so much they don’t know what to do”. At any rate. It’s a lovely song.
you're on track just by knowing every little thing about a bts music video symbolizes something and/or expresses a certain theme or emotion. thus, this song is written as an OST of a movie that involves time-travelling. hence, a hybrid to bangtan universe (BU). i'd say this song has 3 general concepts - for the ost, bangtan universe, and how independently each listener can interpret the song (it's mainly a song of loss yet remembrance). 💜
Welcome to the Bts Universe, Jin is a time traveller xDD There are some parallelism between this MV and Fake love MV (The hourglass, the ending pose, the exploding room...)
This song is a soundtrack for a Japanese film. The music video is a continuation of the story line that runs through a lot of BTS music videos or the BU/BTS Universe. So yeah, you were missing tons of context haha. If you guys aren't sure about the mvs you can always just talk about the song as well - the vocals and the melody of this song is so gorgeous.
The symbolism in the video is related to the BTS universe (BU) which is an alternate universe storyline in some of their videos where Jin keeps reliving a day where the rest of them died (BTS do not exist as a band in the BU they are a group of friends each of whom are struggling in some way like with depression etc). So Jin tries over and over and over again to save the rest of them from various ugly fates (death, prison, suicide etc) but, so far, hasn't succeeded in saving all of them and always ends up losing at least one of them. That's why time is such an important element in this video and why it's linked to Jin in particular. They've been integrating the BU into certain music videos of theirs for quite a few years. It's quite dark and also really confusing at first
Never thought I would write a long comment but here it goes: This video was created for a Japanese Movie called “Signal”. However many of us feel that this video is a part of the BTS sub unit a.k.a BTS Universe/ Storyline. Meaning it is a part of a Storyline that BTS has created within their work. (Videos, books, etc.) Whenever they create something like this, if you want to understand the possible meaning, you dive into a deeper hole which is the Storyline. Not easy to figure out. ARMY/Fans have theories on it. One of the scenes in this video which most people catch right away, unless you follow the storyline, is the part that things are flying around. The room looks like it’s going crazy. Paper flying everywhere... is also the scene in their video “Fake Love”. I won’t write much more because it’s a lot. However I love your breakdowns. I would have been extremely surprised if you three were able to come close. Love your reactions as always. Keep going. 💜💜💜
Armys theorized that this is a continuous story of their Fiction Universe called "BU/ Bangtan Universe", But this song is for a Japanese Drama. Some Army said that the doors represents the memories or the time. the blow up thing was like an after effect of time travelling and the members JK and V knows about Jin time travelling maybe thats why they saw Jin on the other side.
Many have already commented about it being part of the Bangtan Universe content, though yeah, I have to agree that though there is no certification of it being part of the BU content, the thing you have to consider on this MV is time travel and parallel universe, and that it's about being stuck in time, not being able to move forward due to your past. Film Out is an OST to the Japanese Movie signal, which is also a movie with the time concept. On the MV being part of the BU, you need to take note that the BU (Bangtan Universe) is a fictional story based on 7 boys and their quite tragic and intertwined destinies. It was conceptualize by BigHit and mostly have been a pivotal story for most of the BTS MVs. It also deals with time travel thus creating parallel universe while Seokjin tries to save all of his friends from their own tragedies. So you guys mentioning about seeing the past is kinda right. The doors represent all the "time skips" Seokjin created during all his time travels, and no one knows how many times he did due to his failures. You also have to take note of the hourglass, as this is one of the reappearing items in all the BU certified MVs. Another is the mention of the window and the breaking of window/ explosion. Here, you should note that whenever Seokjin fails to save the boys in a time skip, he sees and hears the breaking of glass/glass windows. This is also one of the reappearing concept and item in the BU certified MVs. As windows are related to Seokjin's travel in search of the Map of the Soul and to saving his friends. If you guys remember the Blood Sweat and Tears reaction you did, I remember you commenting something about the mirror ☺️ and yup, Blood Sweat and Tears is one of the BU certified MVs. There are so many things I can still write and I could go on and on but I'll stop here xD and request for you guys to make a reaction on the Bangtan Universe related clips and MVs instead 😂😂😂 Please check them out and consider reacting to the Most Beautiful Moment in life films, Love yourself Highlight reels, BTS universe story map of the soul, Euphoria: Theme of Love Yourself Wonder etc. And.... love you 3 to bits! So glad I found your channel! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
So for some background, this song is being used in the sound track of the Japanese movie Film Out, which is a remake of the popular Korean drama Signal. I've watched the Kdrama and it's basically about a criminal profiler who finds a walkie talkie that connects with a detective from the past and together they work on solving current cold cases (but the crimes are happening in real time for the detective in the past, so they're kinda trying to change the present). While there's a lot of time travel in the Bangtan Universe storyline, it hasn't been confirmed that this MV is actually part of the BU. The hour glass and time travel references could just be related to the movie and lyrics. The lyrics themselves seem to be about losing someone and being left with their memories.
this song was made for a japanese drama about time travel... but many think it continues the bts world story line. thats alot to get into hahah good luck boys its a good rabbit hole.
This song is the title track to a drama called Signal (a Japanese remake to a Korean drama also called Signal). The song & MV is representative of the plot of the movie which involves multiple dimensions & loss (think like Frequency). Aside from that the song is about the loss of someone you care about whether from break-up, end of relationship (any kind) or even death. This has no connection to the BU (Bangtan Universe) but many get confused and think it is because there are some parallels between the movie’s plot & BU’s story.
You need to dive into the BTS Universe to be able to understand the whole storyline but all in all, this song talked about how you're stuck with the memories of someone who's gone.
Film Out was written as an OST for a Japanese Movie, by Jungkook in collab with Japanese rock band songwriter. So, the meaning mainly relates to the premise, plot and characters in that movie (it’s a fantasy drama involving 2 detectives solving cases across different time periods by communicating via a walkie talkie). So yes, time is running out on them according to the hourglass. But BTS couldn’t resist connecting the MV to the Bangtan Universe story line, where JIN travels back and forth in time (creating alternative paths in parallel universes: hence, the portal doors in the sky) trying to save the members from mistakes and tragic events.
its a sound treak for a Japanese movie with time Travel in it, called Signal. many belive its also part of the story line that runs through some of BTS mv.
This is a soundtrack for a Japanese movie which talks about time travel....which actually falls right in with their ongoing BTS Universe storyline that has been going on and on through their songs and albums which I would encourage you to look into so that you don't get too confused when you watch the newer MVs. If you want to attempt to understand their MVs, I suggest you to start at the beginning of their story.
it's part of the bts universe, which is a seperate storyline. The story also has a webtoon and so many bts videos are based on it. You'll have to watch the highlight reels to properly understand.
This song/music video is part of their universe story, seokjin (the one looking at the other members) in the story has to go back in time constantly to save the other members, but as time passes he slowly starts to lose memories of them, which is where the lyrics about gathering memories come in. Its also where the doors come in that you see in one scene, the doors represent all of the different times he had to travel back to help the members.
You could understand it at 3 levels. 1. Lyric based - open to your own interpretation in relation to what you see. 2. It is OST for a Japanese film and I think the sadness is about the story of the film Signal, where 2 detectives from 2 different time zones communicate to solve a case. 3. There are all the elements of The BTS story line, where Jin goes back and forth in time to reach out to the other 6. I don't want to tell more because of spoilers, though honestly speaking you might not really go into the story which is rather cryptic and has notes, clips etc to watch, connect and understand. I think only hard core Armys dive into it. Those who dont can enjoy the music, visuals and vocals/rap. The vocal here with those adlibs were fantastic. But if you are interested watch XCeleste explanation video of this song. You need not react, just to satisfy your curiosity. In fact she has explained the story line from the beginning, very nicely in other videos for people like me who want a short cut.
Film out is OST about time traveling. I think the scene behind the window is memory of Jin who is looking at it. And doors represents every memory Jin´ve already seen. People say it is part of Bangtan Universe, but it wasn´t officialy confirmed.
BTS songs always have deep meanings and you do have to see past the lyrics- they use a lot of symbolism in their songs -- there are explanation vids for their songs.
This mv is connected to Bangtan Universe which is why it's quite complex to understand if you're not aware of the previous stories in BU, but I think watching the movie Signal when it's out can help since this song is meant as the theme song of that movie so it should be connected.
and I forgot, it is also written as an ending theme for movie Signal incorporating or presenting sentiments of the movie. The song is in collaboration with Back Number. Jungkook also helped in creating the track and worked on melody.
It's hard to fully explain this one without giving away the BTS Universe story but you did have it right with themes of things being dark when members are apart and bright when they are together - common theme for the BU. Other comments have also mentioned the connection to the film Signal it is a soundtrack for and the general concept - and you can see some of those concepts reflected too (memories and time).
The mv is bu storyline related but also this song is for a Japanese movie, which has time travel type elements in it. But Heard that this movie is based on Korean drama “signal” which supposedly is based on American movie “Frequency” which all have to do with concept of time. Frequency was great. Was about a Son and father that connect thru past and present via a ham radio. To try and solve/stop murder of their wife/mom. And yea this is def storyline
Film Out" is a song recorded by South Korean boy band BTS for their Japanese-language compilation album, BTS, the Best (2021). Released: April 2, 2021 It's sung in Japanese guys, come on. Of course you''d be confused!!
BTS music videos definitely have their own storyline and it can be intimidating. The music video that people say has the most similar motifs with Film out is Fake Love! For Film out in general, taking into account the lyrics and video, I think it's about reliving memories of the past through present films, an attempt at rewinding time. I think of 3D glasses, how there's red and blue filters. Maybe you're on to something when you said red is chaotic and blue is serene, and when you see red and blue together, that's how you get a full picture of the past. Just my own interpretation.
I think a number of people think that this video is in line with their BTS Universe storyline. I suggest you watch their universe storyline. I really enjoyed deciphering the music videos before!! Start with: -i need u original ver. -prologue -run -young forever -wings (all short films) -blood sweat and tears -love yourself highlight reel Hope this helps ☺️ someone can comment if I missed something
this is the soundtrack for the japanese movie SIGNAL. the japanese army said the lyrics are so painful that the many of the nuances or emotions have been lost into the translation. i wish i knew japanese. also as an anime fan i could say this song is perfect for an anime ending.
this song actually from bts universe theres a storyline from the save me webtoon and there are multiple music videos which are based around that webtoon
This is part of the BTS Universe storyline. Infact, many of the BTS music videos are based on the BU storyline. These music videos show snippets of how Jin is trying to save the rest of the members by traveling back through time to alter the incidents that happen to them and ultimately try to save them all. It's an elaborate story, so maybe you guys can check out a BTS Universe summary video. And react to it ofcourse! We'd love to see that!!
This is their latest edition to their fictional storyline, as well as being the OST for a Japanese film of the same name, and also is in Japanese...All their Japanese songs are gorgeous vocally. HOWEVER, you can enjoy all the songs in their fictional storyline without knowing the whole storyline (it's very complicated). The mv's that go with the story are all wonderful, but you can just go by the lyrics of the song and appreciate the meaning of it...I have no doubt they intentionally write them in that way, so that people who don't know the story can enjoy them. Many of their songs, as you know, can have multiple meanings.
I think you guys would enjoy going through the Bangtan Universe. You seem to enjoy analysis and I think that’d be pretty eye-opening, and anytime you find yourself rewatching their MVs you’ll notice more things that reference the Bangtan Universe
I would really love for you guys to delve into the BU, you have without knowing hit on some of the main themes. You all have the depth that is necessary to piece it out and it is fun.
i think this mv is a part of the bangtan universe (the fictional storyline that occurs throughout many mvs, short films, a webtoon, notes, and a long list of other things). basically bts play a friend group of 7 boys who met after getting detention together and eventually became close friends only to then separate/grow apart due to a number of different conflicts (prison, suicide, drug abuse, child abuse, murder...). one day jin finds himself having traveled back in time and he decides to use this ability to travel to the time to change things. eventually he realizes that he is able to time travel and does so over and over again in order to make things right for his friends so they can be together/happy as they once were. obviously you can see how this can go very wrong as whenever he ties up a loose end, something else goes wrong. it becomes a cycle of him trying to bring back what was once so dear to him but also creating all these alternate timelines because of the amount of times he has time traveled. in this mv, you can definitely see how the storyline plays out especially with the fake love parallels, the hour glasses (time traveling), and then the scene with all the doors (to represent all the timelines jin created by going back in time over and over again), and also the two rooms being mirrors of each other at different points in time. in the beginning of the mv, the room is in disarray but then the scene with all 7 of the members (when jin is in the messed up room looking into the one with the members), the room is normal. also i read somewhere that glass breaking is the signal that jin is time traveling which would explain the room exploding in this mv and fake love. oh and in the scene after jk disappears, jin looks at the hourglass and the sand is going in reverse and then the room explodes, which could represent him going back in time again to save the members who just disappeared. then again, bh hasn't officially marked this as part of the bu but there are just so many signs !
also this is a very bare description, i highly recommend y'all to look into the storyline for yourselves ! i'm sure you will enjoy getting into the theories and references as it is still ongoing. also just a side note, if y'all would like to get into the bu, ask an army for what to watch bc there is a specific order you should watch the mvs and short films in to make it make more sense !
The song is apart of the BU(Bangtan universe) and the song also ties with a new japanese movie where it is the OST. But i like yalls take on the song and MV not knowing the storyline. It makes sense tbh
It's actually the continuation of thier universe story
I don’t think they will understand because they haven’t gotten into their BU storyline.
No, it's not, time traveling is actually the movie theme, and the MV didn't say that is officially part of the BU like the others
Edit: I just found out that BigHit writes "BU Content" under the description box if it's a part of it.
@@jungcookies3530 yes u r correct
The message of this song hits different... When you get through a situation where someone that you know disappeared in ur life and you’re just stuck there with only memories you had with that person. But you can’t bring back a certain person because you already lost them.
the song's just painful :

Yes this hit me like a truck! I lost my dad due to covid-19 he's in different country. Now we're just stuck w the memories :)
I guess Im quite randomly asking but do anybody know a good site to watch new movies online?

Film Out is actually an OST (official sound track) for a Japanese Movie called "Signal" which is basically two detectives/cops (I don't remember), one from the present and one from the past, who communicate through a radio and help each other solve crimes and catch criminals. Film out is also seen to be a continuation of the BTS Universe
Based on American movie “frequency” too. Which is similar storyline. It’s good
that one actually confused me. it felt and was seen as a continuation but there was no BU content confirmation. But oh well...
Edit: *Butter is coming on May 21st*
Pre save and Pre add butter and Hope yall promote it on platforms yall use, Goodbye!
@@lamlammm0 i think the hourglass has to do something and Jin going through doors trying to save everyone... again haha idk
@@lolabangtansonyeondan535 yeah. i thought so to. the only confusion was having no BU content verification.

I wanna know more about BU can u guys tell me where i can start it? Like which mv i should watch/reads some book?
I'm so glad you mentioned the BU! I only found these guys today and would totally binge watch that! Noah has so many wild ideas: dressed like a funeral (Black Swan), standing on a waffle (Butter) so I'd love to see the interpretation. xD
Just a reminder to you guys, it was announced yesterday BTS is releasing a new song called Butter on May 21st.
And its also their 2nd English song!
@@jungcookies3530 Yes :)

Oh shit, i didn't know it would be their 2nd English song! Im super hyped
Smooth like butter like a criminal undercover

this mv is apart of the bts universe so that’s why it’s a little confusing to understand.
This is actually not confirmed, it doesn’t have BU certification in the description.
@@larewi6765 yeah but it fits in the story line very well.
@@larewi6765 they actually aren’t allowed to add “BU” on their description because this isn’t their official comeback. This is for the movie. But there’s a chance that this is the continuation of their storyline. Im 💯 sure this is part of their BU.
@@ciizex_x bighit writes ‘BU Content’ in the description if it is part of the story line
@@saibestboy yeah but the storyline fits into the bu.
Jimin's vocal 💥💢 VMIN'S harmonizing at the end 💞
Love this comment!
@@DanielleMDM93 , me too. A lot information without spoiler about BU
The Bangtan Universe started in 2015 with those 3 to start :
- 'I NEED U' (Original version): ruclips.net/video/jjskoRh8GTE/видео.html
- The HYYH on stage: PROLOGUE ruclips.net/video/Bt8648TNX1M/видео.html

Enjoy! ^^
YO I GOT YOU HOMIES. HERES AN EXPLANATION/RUNDOWN
Ok so this music video actually ties in to their story like AKA the Bangtan Universe.
- wiki info
If you are interested in watching this story progress I will add in the order of music videos to watch. I also recommend doing your own video surfing of explanation videos (XCeleste is a good source)
besides the music videos, there is a webtoon called 'Save Me' on the webtoon app created by BTS's company to REALLY explain the complicated world that is the bangtan universe
I Need U
I Need U original v.
"HYYH On Stage: Prologue"
"Run"
"I Need U" (Japanese Ver.)
"Run" (Japanese Ver.)
"Epilogue: Young Forever"

"Lie" - Jimin
"Stigma" - V
"First Love" Suga
"Reflection" - RM
"Mama" - Jhope
"Awake" - Jin (end of short films)

@@histfictfan4460 so as seen in parts of the videos and revealed in the webtoon, V actually has... premonitions or dreams of the stuff the boys are going through.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Guys, It's just storyline of their clips, relax😅
Their Japanese songs are always soooooo good.
P.S Just came here to see their confusion from Blood, Sweat and Tears to Film Out
This song/video is actually kind of a part of their bu (bangtan universe), where a collection of music videos and short stories combine to make a big story, you guys can check it out if you'd like 😊 but beware, once you do, you might be very confused about some stuff lol.. Or you can just react to those mv's and short stories without going too deep into it, you'll still get the basic story 💜
I'd suggest you look at their music video "I need u" (that's where the whole thing starts) and after you see the visuals and everything, and if then you're curious for more, then you can continue the storyline 👌
Yes please do fake love and spring day !
Great reaction. You should do Trivia: Love by RM next, it's a great vibe with a lot of cool plays on words. Also, the scene where debris is shot through the window is a mimic of the Fake Love music video, so you should def check that out too!
Guyssss... idk if you're ready for this rabbit hole that is the bangtan universe XD but im here for it, so yeah im here for more reactions 🔥
this video is actually the continuation of BTS's storyline or BTS UNIVERSE.
HAVE FUN GETTING TO KNOW MORE ABOUT BTS
its about time traveling...and saving his love ones
pleaseee react to Outro Tear!!! IT'S LITERALLY MY FAV SONG OF RAP LINE
BTS RELEASING THEIR NEW SINGLE "BUTTER" ON MAY 21

BTS with beautiful song 💜
Welcome to the Bts Universe, Jin is a time traveller xDD
There are some parallelism between this MV and Fake love MV (The hourglass, the ending pose, the exploding room...)
One feeling I get from this song is grief. It’s grief over a loved one.
Love your reaction🥰 Please next react to Fake Love and We are Bulletproof the Eternal
It's quite dark and also really confusing at first
The story of clips probably can begin with clip "I need u (original version)" and "run" bts

Never thought I would write a long comment but here it goes:
This video was created for a Japanese Movie called “Signal”.
However many of us feel that this video is a part of the BTS sub unit a.k.a BTS Universe/ Storyline. Meaning it is a part of a Storyline that BTS has created within their work. (Videos, books, etc.)
Whenever they create something like this, if you want to understand the possible meaning, you dive into a deeper hole which is the Storyline.
Keep going. 💜💜💜
This is about the BTS Universe from all their videos ♡
This is the best song ever💜
Armys theorized that this is a continuous story of their Fiction Universe called "BU/ Bangtan Universe", But this song is for a Japanese Drama. Some Army said that the doors represents the memories or the time. the blow up thing was like an after effect of time travelling and the members JK and V knows about Jin time travelling maybe thats why they saw Jin on the other side.
Jin is a time traveller.. that's all I'm gonna say
Dude that gives away the whole plot of BU. There is no fun if they already know this piece of info. You should have given a spoiler warning! 🤦
There are so many things I can still write and I could go on and on but I'll stop here xD and request for you guys to make a reaction on the Bangtan Universe related clips and MVs instead 😂😂😂
Please check them out and consider reacting to the Most Beautiful Moment in life films, Love yourself Highlight reels, BTS universe story map of the soul, Euphoria: Theme of Love Yourself Wonder etc.
And.... love you 3 to bits!
It's part of their storyline ♡♡
This song is the title track to a drama called Signal (a Japanese remake to a Korean drama also called Signal). The song & MV is representative of the plot of the movie which involves multiple dimensions & loss (think like Frequency).
Aside from that the song is about the loss of someone you care about whether from break-up, end of relationship (any kind) or even death.
This has no connection to the BU (Bangtan Universe) but many get confused and think it is because there are some parallels between the movie’s plot & BU’s story.
Once you go into BTS' Universe... There is no going back.

Their is a comics bts owns called save me, most of their songs are from the storyline!
Even without knowing the storyline you guys got a lot of elements right. Appreciate it guys. Luv your reactions
Now "butter" is coming to industry 💜💜
It's hard to fully explain this one without giving away the BTS Universe story but you did have it right with themes of things being dark when members are apart and bright when they are together - common theme for the BU. Other comments have also mentioned the connection to the film Signal it is a soundtrack for and the general concept - and you can see some of those concepts reflected too (memories and time).
This song is beautiful
If you wont more understand, you must see BTS Universe. This song is MV for Japan thriller and part of univere 💜 from Poland
It's not an official part of the BU. Check the description of the mv itself. But I get the similarities.
Please react to “ THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENT LIFE GOES ON THE STORY OF BTS “
Its still part of bts universe, you have to dig deeper 😁💜💜 Cherish every memory you have with the people you loved the most, keep safe👍borahae💜💜
Film Out" is a song recorded by South Korean boy band BTS for their Japanese-language compilation album, BTS, the Best (2021).
Released: April 2, 2021
It's sung in Japanese guys, come on. Of course you''d be confused!!
Welcome to the BTS UNIVERSE
BTS music videos definitely have their own storyline and it can be intimidating. The music video that people say has the most similar motifs with Film out is Fake Love!
For Film out in general, taking into account the lyrics and video, I think it's about reliving memories of the past through present films, an attempt at rewinding time. I think of 3D glasses, how there's red and blue filters. Maybe you're on to something when you said red is chaotic and blue is serene, and when you see red and blue together, that's how you get a full picture of the past. Just my own interpretation.
Its a Japanese track; continuation of BTS Universe story and a literal meaning of the lyrics as of living with the memories of person who is not there
I think a number of people think that this video is in line with their BTS Universe storyline. I suggest you watch their universe storyline. I really enjoyed deciphering the music videos before!!
Start with:
-i need u original ver.
-prologue
-run
-young forever
-wings (all short films)
-blood sweat and tears
-love yourself highlight reel
Hope this helps ☺️ someone can comment if I missed something
Our BTS singing in Japanese hits beautifully, and different.
Thx for covering their OST “FILM OUT”! #BTS
this is the soundtrack for the japanese movie SIGNAL. the japanese army said the lyrics are so painful that the many of the nuances or emotions have been lost into the translation. i wish i knew japanese. also as an anime fan i could say this song is perfect for an anime ending.
this song actually from bts universe theres a storyline from the save me webtoon and there are multiple music videos which are based around that webtoon
Y’all need to get into the BTS universe storyline because this is a continuation
Someone fill them in Bangtan Universe. 😊
The story line started in 2015 with the MV I need you 19 plus..
This is a Japanese soundtrack from a movie
I would really love for you guys to delve into the BU, you have without knowing hit on some of the main themes. You all have the depth that is necessary to piece it out and it is fun.
Actually the interpretation of the colours fits very well into the storyline which was mentioned in many comments:)
i think this mv is a part of the bangtan universe (the fictional storyline that occurs throughout many mvs, short films, a webtoon, notes, and a long list of other things). basically bts play a friend group of 7 boys who met after getting detention together and eventually became close friends only to then separate/grow apart due to a number of different conflicts (prison, suicide, drug abuse, child abuse, murder...). one day jin finds himself having traveled back in time and he decides to use this ability to travel to the time to change things. eventually he realizes that he is able to time travel and does so over and over again in order to make things right for his friends so they can be together/happy as they once were. obviously you can see how this can go very wrong as whenever he ties up a loose end, something else goes wrong. it becomes a cycle of him trying to bring back what was once so dear to him but also creating all these alternate timelines because of the amount of times he has time traveled.
in this mv, you can definitely see how the storyline plays out especially with the fake love parallels, the hour glasses (time traveling), and then the scene with all the doors (to represent all the timelines jin created by going back in time over and over again), and also the two rooms being mirrors of each other at different points in time. in the beginning of the mv, the room is in disarray but then the scene with all 7 of the members (when jin is in the messed up room looking into the one with the members), the room is normal. also i read somewhere that glass breaking is the signal that jin is time traveling which would explain the room exploding in this mv and fake love. oh and in the scene after jk disappears, jin looks at the hourglass and the sand is going in reverse and then the room explodes, which could represent him going back in time again to save the members who just disappeared. then again, bh hasn't officially marked this as part of the bu but there are just so many signs !
also this is a very bare description, i highly recommend y'all to look into the storyline for yourselves ! i'm sure you will enjoy getting into the theories and references as it is still ongoing.
also just a side note, if y'all would like to get into the bu, ask an army for what to watch bc there is a specific order you should watch the mvs and short films in to make it make more sense !
They've been living together for 7 years. This video is about the bangtan universe.
The song is apart of the BU(Bangtan universe) and the song also ties with a new japanese movie where it is the OST. But i like yalls take on the song and MV not knowing the storyline. It makes sense tbh
