This was a great video. I have a iPhone 7 Plus and I think I’m going to upgrade to the iPhone 12. For some reason when I go to try to back up now on my 7+ it says I don’t have enough space but I just upgraded to 50 gigs, and only 17 is being used. So I’m not sure what’s going on with that. but I am going to choose your method, I’m going to back it up on my computer and then restore to the iPhone 12 when I get it. Thanks for the video.
Where is the "File App" on a MacBook Air? Can't see anything about iTunes either? There's iTunes Store within "Music" in the Applications folder. Is this what you mean?
Thanks for video for transferring data iPhone to iPhone through iTunes when I select back up for my computer instead of iCloud so all my apps is going to save in my computer or still iCloud or iTunes I did it as per your description but I cannot find any files downloaded in my pc so my question ultimately where all information is saved although you recommend to connect new iPhone at the same time to restore it to new phone. Many Thanks
Question: do you think there is a difference between buying sim free iPhone from Apple vs. an iPhone that is unlocked and sim free using the Verizon link (also from the apple store)? One reason I ask this because the apple website says all the phones are unlocked. Also, because I just want take my current SIM card (Verizon) from my iPhone X and put it into my iPhone 12 (if I order one) without having to start a 5G plan. Which option do you think would have the easiest results?
When I tried to backup to my computer it said that the backup was corrupt and that I needed to delete the backup for that iPhone in Devices Preferences, then try again. Ugh. Now what???
I’m getting the 12 pro Max when it comes out I am currently using my phone 4 from 8 years ago and my last photo was taken in 2014 April 4rd and I always have to have my phone plugged in
Great video. I used this to help a friend set up his new phone that I shipped him. Thank you.

Good video but you did not tell me when and how to transfer the SIM Card.
I was able to transfer apps and data to new phone but how do I switch my cell service from old device to the new device (att)?
Are you kidding me? Boughten is not a word.
What if my new iPhone 12 has smaller storage space than my iPhone ?
Did you just say "bought'in"? What does that mean....I couldn't find in Webster's dictionary or any encyclopedia.
