Anger and Revenge are More Powerful Motivators than Happiness and Love

Are you angry inside? That's super powerful motivation; much more powerful than happiness and love. Many successful people started their journeys in anger, jealousy and revenge, and it's powerful stuff. So if you're angry, you need to embrace it and channel it towards your own future success. And then, when you finally get there, your negativity will start to dissipate for the right reasons. You're not "convincing" yourself to be happy. You're working through your anger and achieving a new reality where anger can no longer survive. Your doubts have been vindicated. You no longer have any reason to be angry. So embrace your anger and use it as motivation to become successful in life. Achieve the things you desire and then bask in the glory of achievement and success.

As my mom would say depression is the state of a lazy mind. We need goals. Aspirations in order to be not depressed. If we have no goals then we fall into depression its pretty natural. Even if you are doing something you love you wont be depressed because your mind isn't just thinking negative thoughts and such. My councilor as a kid taught me something. Get a rubber band put it on your wrist as soon as you think negative thoughts or feel negatively pull the rubber band and let it slap your wrist. This will help make you aware of the thoughts causing you depression. Try this and watch the magic happen.

This is true. The only time I ever excelled in school was when I was taking revenge on my ex by setting out to beat him to his dream goal in life. Only thing is it didn’t last long. After a year I got over it. When I was dealing with some shady people at my job it was so mentally and emotionally draining that in effort to survive it and show them I was better than them I ran nightly after work and clocked some of the best run times...better than when I was younger and in my prime. It was pretty gnarly. Then I got over it. How do you keep performing at your best once you get over what was pissing you off? That’s what I need to know.

I spent a solid 15 years full of hatred towards people who deserved it and life was good. Then I found religion for a few years and forgave those people and even let them convince me that I was the bad guy for holding a grudge… I had revived my relationships with them at my own expense, it felt like I had become complicit with their evil. I became incredibly depressed and sad and started to accept the world as a terrible place full of terrible people that I am supposed to love... my identity was demolished and people walked over me even more. I had become a victim once again. Fuuuuck. The truth is that sometimes hatred is justified and a good person should never back down when confronting evil. The good shepherd defends against wolves, he does not embrace them. Thankfully I woke up and hate is once again my fuel and I finally feel good again. Fuck them. My advice is to stay true to yourself and if you have to openly fight evil people do it proudly, your older self will thank you. Never surrender.

You might be right, When I was younger I fought with anger and was very successful and motivated, but I got conned in my early 50s and lost nearly everything, I’ve tried meditating and tried to be a calmer man, but I’m sinking and I’ve been depressed, but when I go for long walks, I feel the rage and punch the air, because I wand to kill that man, but I know I can’t, I wake up angry, haven’t worked for a year, I’m now 58: and still losing,
I wake up angry, and I feel like a deer in headlights frozen,
But this evening I asked myself, this anger and rage feels like power, I sweat because I’m so angry,
How can I use this as power, is this anger passion. How can I channel it,?
I lifted weights and had a great build, anger was my fuel, I wonder, should I bring this anger back to the gym? I ve tried talking to people about anger, I’ve read books about it to make it go away, but is this anger also a positive, and should I stop feeling guilty about it and embrace it?
I don’t want to use it to hurt people, or be destructive, but I need to get back in the game,

Need both push and pull; Yin and Yang. Yin is pull (embrace) and Yang is push (punch). Suck and blow like a jet engine. We need both. The raw source of power for punch is to fight injustice and greed in you and out of you and for embrace is affection to the weak and oppressed in you and out of you. There is no hate in Yin and Yang. They are both love but different forms of it. Yang is love too. You don't have to love your enemies but you don't have to hate them either. To not love doesn't necessarily mean to hate. Hate is toxic.

i agree with you 100%. im struggling like crazy but im channeling all my anger and im.trying to use it to gain more power. but the problem is that anger has side effects. it is draining my energy because if i fail at something i get angrier. what do you advice me?

    • @cmi2010

Bob Kh My advice would be to never give up. Life is gonna keep pushing you down. So keep channeling your anger, use it intelligently, and never lose focus on your goals and remain steadfast. And eventually you'll get through

The only problem with anger is that while you think you are doing things for your self , you are most probably always trying to prove someone else wrong. Love and anger have the exact same energy the difference they both move you to do great things. The problem is behind anger there is someone pulling your strings instead of you controlling your actions.Done it once. Please dont listen to this and built careers just because you embraced the fact that you have to prove someone wrong.

Since I see there are other people here that think the same, I would highly recommend doing some research on Friedrich Nietzsche and his theory on Master and slave mortality, heres a little summary on it: conventional morality makes you weak, why I say this is because the guy on this video has a point, contrary to popular belief, anger, rage and revenge make you STRONG for example I was always a skinny Wimpy kid that got picked on, I directed that anger towards getting as jacked as I could, it's safe to say it worked😂

I had a question about the feelings of anger and revenge. How do you hold on to it long enough to reach your goal and not some area that you are satisfied at? I hope that makes sense...

Nathan that's where focus comes. You need more than anger you also have to focus and remember what it is you're fighting for and why u do what u do.
