Eli Vanto was brought into the story after Thrawn was exiled from the Chis because he had initiated an attack. There was a secret secondary plan for Thrawn to seek out alliances to help the Chis agaist the Grix. Vanto was then sent to work with Aralani to pass on their strategies while Thrawn was promoted to Grand Admiral. Your timeline is skewed a little but great video as always.
They are basically the Romulans in a Galaxy far, far, away. Minus the imperialism and xenophobia dialed down, but still present. Plus the good old fashion paranoia, deceptiveness and cunning.
Chiss xenophobia I think is at least partially tied to how fast the Chiss mentally mature, like the average 30 year old human would appear to act very childishly to the average 20 year old Chiss.
I've grown to have an appreciation for the chiss in recent time. On the star wars the old republic mmo, my favourite empire character I've made was a female chiss imperial agent. The last thing you'd wanna see if her piercing red eyes in the dark if you're unfortunate enough to tango with her. She was the empire character I ultimately took through the expansions just caused I liked the agent a good bit.
@@Илья-р5к6з The main difference is Force Sensitivity mainly appearing in Female Chiss (if not only them) and it fading away as they get older naturally. In Legends it's heavily implied Chiss losing their Force Sensitivity is due to them using continued medical treatment from youth, that suppresses their Force Sensitivity until they lose it.
@@aster4jaden Have you read the thrawn ascendancy books? I need to go back to double check but I never got the impression that there was any intentional manipulation that caused them to lose their force sensitivity as the Chiss fleet is completely dependent on force-sensitive children as navigators, and mentioned that ways to extend their sensitivities is being studied and has been for centuries. It's also mentioned in the Thrawn trilogy, the third book I believe, that Eli Vanto is given the task of comparing data between a rare navigator who has retained her force sensitivity into her twenties to other navigators in order to see if there is a obvious reason to explain why her sensitivity didn't fade.
“We know that the Chris’s exist within the Unknown Regions and that it has very little contact with the rest of the galaxy…” That line’s so funny once you discover the people of Corellia have been trading with the Chris’s Ascendancy for thousands of years and just never told anyone.
We all know Thrawn thought the Empire was a necessary evil, but you would think after being around stupid commanders and being exiled by Ezra and purgill he would realize the empire was bound to be destroyed. He should have convinced Ezra to return with him to the chiss instead of trying to return to the main galaxy. But who knows, maybe his plan was to return with the night sisters, gather what they need from dathomir and as many ex imperial allies as possible and return to the chiss afterward.
You forgot that THEY WERE once 20,000 yrs old pre-hyperdrive humans colonists that ended up on the frozen world of Csila. They are now classified by the humanist Galactic Empire as "alien",but actually are adapative genetic drift "near-human species."
I thought Thrawn was better looking than his Portrayal by (Lars Michaelson) . I know that he voiced him in the clone wars. So that was a good pick, To play him. But for some reason they've uglied up Lars They made him look old. Thrawn is supposed to be strong and vigorous. Not old and weak looking. That's all I have to say about that.
Just the unknown regions can be as large as the central core and all rims combined, we don't know even a little of what crap happens there while the Jedi and sith fight in the galaxy
I have theory that is associated with empire authorities. Thing is - the more pens chief is having on its suit - the higher its rank in empire. Thrawn has 4 though 😂 Never seen they being used, but why you do need 4 pen? I started to notice those pens starting with Rebels series.
Those things are not pen, they are called Code Cylinder. In Obi Wan Kenobi series, Imperial Officer Tala used the cylinder to access confidential data on the Fortress Inquisitorious
#thestupendouswave Ok so wild theory of Morgan elsbeth the character Merrin in jedi survivor game could be Morgan elsbeth and if she went into hiding after her sisters and order were killed she would have changed her name more then once to stay from being caught and now if you look at her relationship with thrawn and the way she looks at force users if it is merrin something could have happened to cal and it could have broke her because the relationship went bad or cal died in front of her and it made her go back to her original ways
#Thestupendouswave Merrin and Morgan elsbeth even act in the same way as each other because think bout it Merrin is her younger self and naïve after just losing her entire planet and now that she older and had time to blend in she would have easily changed her name in order to not be seen like how obi wan went by Ben on tattooine when he was in hiding himself and I’ve thought bout this since you did mention that thrawn could have told her she’d have to get rid of her night sister brand marker so it’d make since Merrin was the last living night sister their for she’d be the last night sister in the known galaxy
its during the sith wars that the paternal lineage of my original character, Orion Killdarn, would become one of the many human/sith hybrids that developed when the exiles were stranded on Korriban. When the Chiss Ascendancy became involved, a female chiss ended up having an affair with a human male and was expelled from the ascendancy. this led to Orion's maternal lineage becoming human/chiss hybrid. overtime, both these lineages became diluted to the point where it was almost non-existent. then, Orion's parents met, and when they had him, dormant genes suddenly resurfaced due to their perfect alignment. Orion is the last known sith hybrid lineage, and the only [known] chiss hybrid lineage.
No matter where his true loyalties lie or any ulterior motives he may have does not change the fact that he is an evil person. The ends don't justify the means. He for example bombarded Capital City killing tons of innocent people just to force Ezra to surrender. And orderd it destroyed even after Ezra did. He has no qualms committing attorocities if he feels it will be advantageous. That's evil pure and simple.
He’s preparing for a bigger threat that is coming to the Galaxy one that the rebels and New Republic was unprepared for. Trillions could have survived if Thrawn and the Empire was still around
Of course not. Vong are the spices developed enough to travel between galaxies and get through the great hyperspace barrier, also outnumbering them 1000 to 1. Ain't no way they are gonna lose
@@Илья-р5к6з I don't think the great hyperspace barrier in legends or prime canon is that significant. Kamino is located in one of the satellite galaxies, and even the rebels had a base in the rishi maze.

Not that it makes any sense at all to have Chiss in the game lol
@@Michael-bn1oi Oh it probably doesn't, but the unique dialogue you can get by being a chiss agent is too good to pass up.

I prefer Legends Chiss over Canon Chiss, mainly because of how Force Sensitivity works in Canon for the Chiss it just doesn't feel right.
What is the difference between how it works in canon and legends for them?

Only issue i have with live action Thrawn is Thrawn is not the type of person that would let himself get a beer belly in exile. Lol
Soy is a big part of Disneys diet

Thrawn is in his 70's please forgive him. :)
In his old age he's drinking to much of that Night Sister IPA. I still think he'd stay in shape. But who knows.
