I used to watch this back in the day, every day after school. It was my primary method for watching music videos and discovering new music, along with CBC's Video Hits (which I didn't like nearly as much). Watching the day they premiered MJ's Thriller video in its entirety was practically a special event for me. I was sad to learn of his passing a few years ago.
i remember seeing john at mcdonalds,at eglington, and baview, in Toronto, right after this...he seemed very sad...I think he may have been fired or whatever....he was ordering in line, I thought....poor guy...but , as I recall, this was one of the early video shows. rip john major peace sj
