For me Gerhard, most of the BBC live recordings have curiosity value only. The sound quality just isn't good enough. This song though, is one of the few exceptions, and it's a shame that they didn't include it on the Please Please Me album. Some of the cover versions that they did put on that album leave a lot to be desired, in my humble opinion!
Wow, those BBC mixes were rough recordings as I remember. I can't believe what you were able to coax out of those raw mono recordings. Hats off to you sir. Giles Martin ought to have you on his speed dial!
It just shows what can be done. I do sympathise with Giles Martin a little bit though. If he started adding samples to Beatles recordings the way I do, there would be uproar. So he's at quite a disadvantage !
@@radiowollaton8521 Perhaps, but isn't he sort of "breaking the rules" already by applying EQs and using digital technology that certainly didn't exist 60 years ago.
INCRIDEBLE AS ALWAYS!!!! I'm genially impressed, most songs on the bbc album typically sound not the best (example is keep your hands off my baby) but you were able to clean it up! I hope to here more songs from this album remixed and cleaned up by you, more specifically Don't ever change and Solider of Love, I've found those in particular one of my favorite Beatles songs even though they are covers, again fantastic job and hope you keep up with the phenomenal work.!!!
🎧👍👍 This was a classic case of my curiosity turning into a deep respect and admiration for The Beatles not to mention, once again, the mono to stereo 'miracle'. Very well done, Pat and thank you. For some reason, Popsicles And Icicles by The Murmaids popped into my wee noggin as I was listening.
Nice cover of the Teddy Bears showing their love of 50s and 60s American pop/rock & roll records. One of my favourite Doowop records was Angel Baby by Rosie & The Originals which I cottoned onto reading in the NME that this was a great favourite of John’s. Beatles were pretty good at covers - they just didn’t need to do many with their song writing abilities. Headphones stereo brilliant as usual. Thanks Pat.
Great Job PAT, As RUclips has unblocked Beatles songs make us a good Stereo Remix of John Lennon Imagine I really like this song and after Elvis come back in the 70s Promised Land 😊😊😊
i didn't expect some of this masterpiece album
I wasn't expecting it to sound very good. I've surprised myself with this remix !
@@radiowollaton8521yeah i can tell
So far I have paid little attention to the BBC live recordings. But this mix changes my mind. Well done Pat. 😊

Me too. Thanks Ulli 👍👍
You made it sound as high-quality as if it was an actually released track.
In fact, it's good enough that it could be released today.
Thanks Todd 👍👍

Thanks Bill. It's not bad for a one take live version. Only the Beatles could do it that well !
Another great mix , thanks Pat. 👍👍👍🎸
Thanks Lars 👍👍
Excellent remix of this ballad by The Beatles, very pleasant sound. My preferd version is the original by The Teddy Bears, your remix naturally 😉👌👍
The Teddy Bears version is the definitive one for me, although this version comes a close second !
I think this your best Beatles remix you’ve done so far, sensational!
Thank you. My favourite Beatles remix, so far is Do You Want To Know A Secret. I'm really pleased with the way that one turned out !
Nice song . Happy Weekend dear
Thanks Patti. Wild weather here in England this weekend. Trees down, roofs damaged and lots of outdoor events cancelled !

Thanks Henry. Angel Baby is a great song, and I'm going to put it on my to do list. I think there is room for improvement !
Lennon recorded a cover of Angel Baby during his "lost weekend" in LA in 1973. Released on "Menlove Ave" in 1986. Great song!
What a great remix! Thank you so much. Could you do "I'll be on my way"?
I'll look into it.
Great Job
