    Master = Someone with a certain level of expertise in their craft; Certified = implies completion of a course or courses of study in the subject matter and subsequent development of a higher level of skill... LD

    master of ___ would be a person who has an expertise, deep rooted understanding of a particular subject that can only come with time, experience, education

    certified ----- a person who passed the exam, understand the basics, legally recognized in a particular field, obtained a formal education in the subject.

    Do you need a loctican certificate to be a loctican? Seems like most states either don't acknowledge the certificate or require it

      No you don’t, you’d just be self-taught and figuring it out as issues come your way

    So since I took your class am I certified now? 😆. I honestly just call myself a self made loctician is that wrong? I’ve been doing locs for about a year now and taking classes.

      No not just from enrolling, upon completion students demonstrate their understanding with a Theory Assessment and Practical Submissions of the techniques learned. And then we continue to build with each other in the private Loctician Community

      Help as in regrow the hair? No, that Trichology. We do discuss what adjustments will need to be made for clients with alopecia

    I want to be a loctician and it seems like the only way to be one is to waste time (And money) learning how to straighten And perm hair for a year at beauty school then learn to do locs after I finish. Is there another way to be a loctician? Beauty schools do not cater to black people..

    I have a question. How can I find a loctition? I live in Brooklyn and am considering going to a loctition for the very first time. I'll be 14 months loc'd next month and I've been maintaining these babies since birth but I would like to visit a holistic loctition who has the same values u do 4 a retwist. How can I find one?

    My is all dreadlocks grays and it itches a lot why is that please and I have them enter locks. Thanks very much for giving details on dying the grays because I was about to do that and washing and conditioning, I do it every two too 3 months is that good or bad. Thanks again
