These types of videos are never dull, seeing the amount of work and struggle that goes into a repair is appreciated. The tips for certain aspects of a repair are fantastic as well. Keep it up guys 👌
@@valhallaawaits6889 thanks. I'll try and do more
Thanks for the pro tips on removing the track adjuster.
As always I enjoy seeing you and your son spending time together working together. 👍
Absolutely love the video footage of the Boyz hard at it. Cheers
Thanks. It's always a lot of work.
@@toddclyne3493 I appreciate the time and energy that goes in to building and maintaining that fleet of sleds 🛷 As always thanks for sharing the experience.
Thanks glad you enjoyed it
Love all the different angles and steps you included ! Love my Milwaukee 1/2” Ugga dugga !! Every bit as powerful as any 1/2” air impact I’ve ever owned. Take care 🍺🍺
@@TonyGeneseo my air Ingersoll rand impact spends a lot of time in the toolbox 😁
Pro tip to greatly extend bearing life... I gently pull the seals out of my new bearings, use a packer to push in new water resistant grease, then put the seals back in.
Also, for assembly, I bought one of those $150 arbor presses for skid wheel bearings, it only takes 500 lbs effort, the hyd jack takes too long.
I use a Hammer and a socket 💪..............Grease idea is interesting though.
@@waults I have head of using a needle grease fitting to poke the seal and inject grease before. I like your way also.
I do the same each or every other season. Get more life out of the bearings.
Great work guys, also enjoy all the little tips and tricks you have. Awesome content.
@@AndyMcCauley-yc2hh thanks so much
I have sled like that. I also tore apart a parts sled. And those A-arm abolts are all rusty and froze to the bushings. Blue wrench helps alot. Good video and will be following.
@@tomnielsen6439 Blue wrench 😁 love it. I have always called it the flame wrench 😁
Watching ya in Punta Cana now wishing I was home slugging away on my old triple 🍻
Nice wrenching action content, hopefully start your hoodie t-shirt hat merch next, awesome welding repair undercarriage rail.
@@jeffpine3036 Im trying to do better 😁
I really appreciate the amount of clips in the last couple videos of really working on the sled! Cheers 🍻
I will try to keep doing it. The progress on our custom sleds is so slow sometimes i figure to video it would just to boring for most to watch it
I always enjoy the tricks and tips and glad you guys use gloves unlike nutter and the guys lol
Dennis would be proud of the power washing😂
Glad to see im not the only one who hates the rusted bolt suspension work either...nice work...all the hours you put in are worth more than the sled 😂
@@MidnightPolaris800 so so many hours nobody sees. Gloves are on my hands all day everyday 😁
Nice work guys, entertaining video!
@@Mike-cp1ft thanks. We'll do more
Warm summer day😮

You’d think there’d be a cottage in industry of rebuilding skids and offering them back like a rebuilt caliper.
I’ve done a few of them myself, but learn something new every time.
I suppose it’s called just bring it to the dealer, but who wants to pay for that
@@tomreynolds5767 definitely something most can do at home
Had an SLP twin piped Fuji 92 Indy 500. 72 horsepower stock, which was a lot in those days. The Indy 650 was the big boy 99 to 102 horsepower. Some RXL's were in the 102 to 105 horsepower range. An Erlandson QA2 helix in the secondary, and you could hurt some feelings.
@@TrakSpock1 absolutely 😆
I’m getting my 91 classic 500 ready for my son for our trip up north in 2 weeks.. fuel pump crapped out. I’ve got pulse from the block, and good pickup in tank, lines are new as of last year, but no fuel to carbs.. runs fantastic if I gravity feed the carbs, guess 34 years will wear out a pump eh?
I just pulled a pump apart that wasn't pumping. I found oil on the pulse side of the diaphragm preventing the pump from working. Crazy thing never seen that one before. Have fun on your trip
@ end of last-last year it was getting boggy up in the UP as we were loading up, Like running out of fuel, I guess it was!
@@patbarch8278 same thing mine was doing. I would have to keep flipping the choke
Better load some sleds up and head to Cook County Todd. We got lots of snow!
@@Z-Bart that's what hear 😁
Just thought I`d add: "Hey.. My Triple Lovin RUclips Friends!" .... 😂
@@darcy32171 😆😆🥰 thanks
Yep, Ive done fresh rebuilds on both my 500's skids. Now I just need some dang SNOW!!!!
we got some riding in today and yesterday
Sometimes it’s just a struggle.. love to see you guys taking the time to do it right! What material did you use to make new bushings for the shocks, aluminum?
@@joeludz13 OEM shock bushings, belt sanded to fit
How many sled owners do you think actually grease there suspension?
@@kevinandres5053 Probably only 10 percent
