I can't express how glad I am that someone is reacting to this (especially because I have actually recommended this cover to some other reaction channel recently so it is a massive coincidence. Kind of feels like a late Christmass/early News Years gift). Nijisanji (ex) ID is special to me (was where I truely fell into the rabbit hole and started watching vtubers regularly) and has always been criminally underrated. It is such a shame so few of them remain (even if both my two top oshis from Niji ID are still active).
Really pleasant surprise to see you reacting to this!! My oshi Amicia Michella named this as her proudest work and I absolutely loved how she sung and played the Cheshire Cat here. Even though I was more accustomed to Disney's goofier portrayal of the cat, Amicia's own soft and gentle voice really sends home the mystery element it's got. Incidentally, today (Dec 27) would be Amicia's birthday too!
I miss Nara. I know there's always going to be turnover and 3+ years is a pretty good run. When it came to vtubing the ID community in Niji and Holo were the home before even the EN branches debuted. I like all of these folks, I hope they're doing well.
This made me cry knowing all but one of them alr graduted
