"Calm the Fire" - Alter Bridge at The Fillmore Silver Spring, 2/10/17

- As of the time of this upload, I still haven't slept since going to this AMAZING Alter Bridge gig at The Fillmore Silver Spring on February 10th, 2017 on The Last Hero Tour. This song was played as a special request by an attendee of the 2017 Shiprocked Cruise, which AB was a part of, but they were not able to play the song on the cruise. They made up for that by playing it in Silver Spring, with the aforementioned attendee in the audience. Glad that the rest of us got to enjoy this rarity from the Fortress album, as well!

This song is so underrated. They should play this more often in live performance
Took me a while to figure out what he says at 6:42. "Forgot how hard that song was to play." Still cannot believe they not only omit this from the majority of their shows, but also omit it from "The Royal Albert Hall Featuring The Parallax Orchestra." How unbelievably magical would this song be with an orchestra behind it?

Yeah I thought the same thing! Thought it was a near perfect set list but this was the biggest shame of an omission I believe. Hopefully will get another chance to see it one day 🤞🏽

Interesting that Myles says in the beginning of this video that they haven't played this song in a long time- I saw them play it about 4 months before this, on 10/4/16, in Charlotte, NC. Regardless- his voice gives me chills!!!!!
