Kudos to Milescraft for supporting a maker like yourself. Great review...I didn't even know they made this lol. Voiceovers that even a choir of angels would be jealous of. Keep it man...great job.
Put some mesh on your table saw vent holes and I would think it would get most of the excess. I was going to build a box on the bottom, but didn't want the foot print as i have my table saw suspended on my work bench. I will be looking into buying this dust bag. thanks for the info....
nice, wish i had seen this before buying the harbor freight table saw bag ($6). need to add some suction to get it to work like this dust cutter appears to work.
Put the riving knife back on your saw, yes its a small table saw, but it can still kick a board back at you 100 miles an hour and pull your hand into the blade.
You're 100% correct. I did wise up and add the blade guard and riving knife back onto this saw sometime later. This was a cheap little saw and I never felt safe using it. I later picked up a much more stable saw at an auction - a 30 year old saw. The belt-driven kind with the motor hanging out the back. So much better. And I was able to continue using this dust collector with it the new (old) saw. :)
Return watcher. Great review man! I watched this last year and was thinking of something like this and it reminded me of this video, so I HAD to rewatch to see if this is right for me. With that, are you still using this product? Care to provide pros and cons after using it a while?
I'm still using it! However I have not used my table saw much in the last year or so so haven't gotten a lot of practical time with it. My 2-car garage has 2 cars that like to be parked in it, so when I do woodworking I have to pull the tools out from the wall. It's a little bit of a pain to pull out the saw and rig up the shop vac to it, but I don't do enough woodworking to justify build-in permanent dust collection, and don't have the physical space to do that anyway. So for my usage, this thingy on my table saw is the best option that I know of.
@@MikeyMakey mine has a dust port but there's so many gaps in the saw chamber that it might as well have a big hole at the bottom (it's the cheapest/13 amp Ryobi table saw.)

Chris Parker Thanks sir! 😁
Very cool! I didn't even know something like this existed.
Michael Turner Honestly, I didn't either until I spotted it on their website. LOL. It makes a huge difference.
Wish I would have seen this a few months ago just finished a garage rebuild and it would have been of GREAT help

i'll destroy my old dust collection system. This one looks like it will work much better for me. Thank you.
Seems like a good solution
Mike Fulton Thanks Mike, I agree!
Thanks, man that's a lot of help.

My tablesaw is like yours where the bag is bigger than my stand. Has bunching it at the Velcro affect it any? Does cuttings get by those spots?
Sweet does it double as a table saw stand!?
How does the adhesive work over time? Seems like that is a weak point.
I wonder if you could bolt this system as I agree adhesive would fail over time
you're going to injure the hell out of yourself reaching over thst blad like that

Does your saw have a rear dust port? Mine does, would this set up work for my saw?
Mine did not have a dust port, it was just completely open on the bottom.

working with a tree has become much simpler with Stodoys plans.
