If you just right click the sound button on the taskbar there's a "Spatial Sound" drop down menu. After downloading Dolby Atmos, it will appear in that drop down menu, you just click to enable and go back to the Dolby Atmos app!
For anyone wondering, I was confused if I had to have this program open at all times for it to be 'active' but the fact that you change the "Spatial sound" to dolby makes it active so the moment you start up your computer you're good to go :D yay
The quicker way is to right click the speaker icon in the system tray (bottom right). Hover over spatial sound and select "Dolby Atmos". You can turn it off the same way.
I've got the UHD package for netflix, having difficulties with using dolby atmos for headphones for netflix as the dolby atmos symbol isn't appearing on the programme? thanks!
I use my 65 inch tv as my secondary monitor for watching movies and streaming and it has its own surround sound processor, coupled with dolby access/atmos some sounds are virtually vibrating inside my ear. Even though it's designed for headphones it works for speakers as well. Pretty cool for music as well. Very recommended. Love the tutorial. Dolby Access is worth the money.
I always wonder why people take so many extra steps in tutorials, right click the sound icon, click on sounds.... Boom! Your there, no typping, no other panels. Quick and easy!
There's often a difference between the quickest and simplest way of doing something. In this case the sound menu had changed in recent windows updates and you couldn't use the right click method to get there on every PC. I have the A40’s with the newest TR mixamp. So when I enable it do I have to do it for my headset and the amp right? Or just the headset?
Either wen using amp turn off Pro logic as that's suround on top of surround use the atmos app with Ingatestone surround set on then pipe that sound out to headphones use your amp and select a natural neutral eq BUT TURN OFF THE PRO LOGOC BUTON
In sound control panel i cant enable spatial sound although my headphones are compatible with that for sure. All i have is just Off, nothing else. How can i fix that?
Have you fix it ? . I have the same issue with mine
For some reason its putting back to off spatial audio with my Logitech G633 Artemis 7.1 headsets , it works fine with PS5 3D audio headset , anybody know how i can fix this issue ?
Dolby Atmos is not designed for 7.1 and 5.1 headphones, only stereo headphones
i randomly have this app already preinstalled and now im just watching this to know what it even do
i use voicemeeter and that does not have dolby atmos option in the properties. is there a way to get it there?
i have a Logitech G Pro X, should i enable the surround sound on Ghub right¿¡?
hello ! is this only for pc players ? I have astro50 but I play on ps4
when I try to do the same thing but choosing dolby atmos for home theater and apply instead of dolby atmos for headphones the settings from Dolby Acces are still unavailable, but in the products area from dolby acces it says that my home theater is ready to use. I suppose the setting works only for headphones not home theater?
Thanks
Did you ever figure this out?, I also have this issue
Hi Chris, I tried to choose dolby atmos option on spatial sound format settings but it went back to off. How to fix this? Any help?
me too, have you fix it?
if i enable dolby atmos, can i hear youtube videos in dolby effect? can i feel the difference
Yes it enables it for all programs.
Personally, I can tell the difference but it depends on the headphones you use.
@@ChrisProAU I'm using boat rockerz 510
Dolby Atmos for Headphones works fine for games, but not for movies, because i haven't found any player that really supports it. What do you suggest?
Just bought it which presets do you guys use. Right now i just use the game one
Why not just type mmsys.cpl rather than searching for sound settings through windows start?
While it might be quicker, It's not as easily understood.
I normally access the sound control panel through Eartrumpet but needed a way that would work on any PC.
@@ChrisProAU Fair point. I bet that makes it much easier for viewers too. I am big dumb lol.
what if in my settings i cant choose dolby atmos for headphones?, that i cant choose, it gonna set on "off"
hey friends i have a problem, when i put on the dolby asmos for my g pro x the sound desapear i just can hear the sample videos in dolby acess nathing more any one here knows something about it? i dont want to use the dts sound

It doesn’t let me choose Dolby... is it because it’s not a USB port headset?
pay or start the trial
Is there dolby to boost my audio speakers? Instead of headphones
yes you can choose between using them for headphones or speakers

How can I get the Dolby Access app as you did not provide a link to buy the app? By the way, do I have to pay a subscription monthly fee to use this Dolby Access app? I found the app at Microsoft and the app is free to download, but it seems I have to pay monthly subscription since it offers a so-called "free trial". Anyhow thanks for your video
it should be a one off payment of about $15, not a subscription. although even that is a bit steep for software that should really be free and integrated into all devices imho.
This is not free software that "should be free".
Dolby has spent millions and millions and decades preparing dolby atmos. It is not freeware invented by a bunch kids as open source free ware. They need to make their money out of it.
And it's bad ass that it exists nothing else like it so 15 bucks once is nothing
He's telling ME to buy The app. Îs monthly subscription or pay only once and ready?
from my experience it was a one time payment
does the app needs to remain open in order to work? or can i X out of it?
It does not.
It will stay enabled unless the devices are unplugged.
Does it works for dolby atmos soundbar?
When i selecet trial can it be want money or automatic get money or somethings else?
no,after trial it just stops working
@@OldCarger Thank you

Do you plug the headphones in the back port or the front port of the tower? Does it make a difference which port the headphones is plugged into?
hey man I installed dolby access on my pc when I Uninstalled my audio completely fucked up anyways to fix that I feel like it does this on purpose
