    As a Vikings fan for the past 50 years, if the Falcons do indeed move on from KC after one year, it couldn’t happen to a more deserving QB. The reality is that KC lined is pockets with over 180 million dollars and only won one playoff game in 6 seasons despite the team loading up on offensive weapons at the expense of defense to try to get more out of KC. KC held the team hostage with his contract keeping the team in cap purgatory. I would also argue that just as Justin Fields was a one dimensional QB so was KC who never put the team on his back and used his feet to extend series, choosing instead to put his health and pocketbook as the top priorities. If anyone owed the Vikings the Tom Brady hometown discount it was KC!

      Yeah, nothing like Kirk "First Round Exit" Cousins to bring the delusion to the city! Have fun being disappointed, then being disappointed again when your made-of-glass backup QB gets injured. The Falcons aren't a threat to anyone. We beat y'all with a 3rd string QB that had only been on the team for four days. What're you talking shit for? 😂

    Why does PFT think McConnell is such a great QB coach? I didn't see that last year.

      @richarddean3154 23 дня назад +1

      Absolutely. Everyone thinks KOC is a quarterback whisperer with zero evidence. Mullens, Dobbs, and Hall didn't exactly light it up after Cousins got injured.

    • @shawnjohnson9763
      @shawnjohnson9763 19 дней назад

      @richarddean3154 He did a damn good job against the Falcons with a guy that was on the team for 3 days and didn't know the playbook. Also, Mullens looked really good, except that he thought that he could make every throw. And Hall was a rookie who needs more time. None of those guys are starting caliber. Good coaching can only take you so far. But, if you're raw, lack talent, or you're not a good scheme fit, then you're going to struggle.

    • @richarddean3154
      @richarddean3154 18 дней назад

      @@shawnjohnson9763 Sure - Dobbs and Mullens each looked great until Dobbs threw 4 interceptions to the Bears and Mullens threw 4 interceptions to the Lions. Dobbs ended up with FIVE interceptions AND THREE lost fumbles in only 4 games, Mullens had EIGHT interceptions in only 3 games - image what they would have had in a full season. Goodness, Hall had no rushing or passing touchdowns in 2 games but he sure had 3 turnovers. If KOC is such a quarterback genius, why do his 3 quarterbacks go 1-6 in the last 7 games and have a total of 19 turnovers? Some genius.

    • @shawnjohnson9763
      @shawnjohnson9763 18 дней назад

      @richarddean3154 Like I said, Dobbs isn't a scheme fit, Mullens is a gunslinger, and Hall is raw. Plus, the defense collapsed down the stretch. Wins and losses alone don't tell the whole story. Given the way that things went, O'Connell did a really good job last year. Adding young talent and getting guys back from injury will make a big difference this year.

      @@shawnjohnson9763 Totally - unless McCarthy doesn't fit the scheme or is a gunslinger or a raw talent. Then, no amount of coaching genius will save the team. Or if the defense collapses down the stretch. I got it.

      Not just the playoffs, the NFCCG! Yes for sure '98 hurt something fierce. But what was way worse was 2010 in New Orleans, Bounty Gate where the Saints D. Coordinator paid bounties to injure Favre. The League did absolutely NOTHING during the game as they had to have the Aints go to the SB because of Katriina.
