Great reaction. I wish Paul had done something like this years ago, before he damaged his vocal cords. This still sounds great, but no where near what he was once capable of. He played that part of the Phantom in a run of "The Phantom of the opera" on a broadway play. That's how good he was. You just don't see rock stars ever doing that. Unfortunately after years of touring, and the stress of singing so high (age as well), his cords got damaged and has had surgery on them.
Wow. I never knew he was in Phantom! It's the perfect part for him! My late husband and I saw Phantom in 2013. If Paul had been in it then, I would have freaked out!
Even at his age, Paul has more energy than most 20 some-things. I've always felt he was so underated as a singer. He was one of the best singers in rock. And as a front man...he ranked up there with Diamond Dave and Mercury. If He hadn't been in KISS...it would have just been another band. He is KISS!

His physical appearance might remind you of John Legend, but to me his presence reminds me of Trey Lorenz, who performed with Mariah Carey back in the early 90’s specifically on the MTV plugged episode paying tribute to the Jackson 5 classic, “ I’ll be there “. Paul and his Soul Station band did this song justice. Paul just shows just how talented and diverse he is musically.

I am not into Kiss and never was but Paul has a fantastic soul voice.He missed his calling being a soul singer. Love that his band performs in 70's Soul style > real instruments,no synth crap.Gonna buy this album.

But as a touring band, they are closing in on the 50 year mark !!! ...They were actually in the middle of their "End Of The Road" tour when the COVID pandemic shut it down !!! :/:/:/

Boy oh boy. Paul Stanley is fire.. still got that beautiful hair. First time I saw KISS in concert and I heard Paul Stanley speak I died because I wasn't ready for it. He sounds totally different than what you would think.
This is like when the rich guy paying for the wedding band jumps up at the end and “sings” a song with the band and they pretend to be happy since he’s paying.
Crazy how Paul can go from being the powerhouse singer of KISS, to something so soulful. Amazing band! Waiting on the album to drop. Fantastic!!

he can do anything, in 1999 he played the Phantom in a Toronto production of The Phantom of the Opera!

Paul Stanley use to be a member of the rock band _KISS._ He was the one with the star around his eye. So he was always a great singer.
