    this is one of my favorite movies of all time! Audrey is so gorgeous, real and charming in it, and she has amazing chemistry with Albert Finney. my heart aches just thinking about this hollywood masterpiece!

      You just know people were devastated when they went to the theater expecting a sweet and happy romantic comedy. " Destroys me " is an accurate response to its plot. The music makes it better ( worse ? ) and more romantic ( tragic ? ).

    Everything is perfect here, the period changes..in flashback and again in reverse, audrey in one of her best roles..changing every time, with every crisis in her marriage, and...BEAUTIFUL in that plain red sweater, long hair and jeans!!. the music is wonderful..sweet and tragic, the direction flawless..yes, it,s a perfect movie. and the plot..something risquee for 1967. very actual indeed!!. carlos

    This movie was so brilliant of how couples evolve. The only person who could have done this was Audrey. She was marvelous. It's the perfect follow up movie to Breakfast and Tiffany's. Breakfast at Tiffany's fans must see this movie!!!

    Some of the very cutest moments in this movie, but when they constantly went back to their bad relationship, it made me upset :( I wanted the good relationship all the time. Also didnt like that they cheated on eachother...

    That reallly would be great.!. very hard to find, only without translation /subtiles after a long time about ten years i found one (Original).

    Audrey looks very thin in this movie. Read that her marriage to Mel Ferrer was on the rocks. Guess thats normal , everybody loses weight when one's marriage is entering doomsville.

      I read once that she remained thin all her life as a result ( psychological, maybe ? ) of not having enough food as a youngster during the Nazi occupation - Belguim and Netherlands. Think I'll go to Wikipedia for details....
