This 100%. The yellow dress isn't Belle's wedding dress either it's just a dress she wears to dinner with the Beast. For most of the movie she has on a simple dress. It never shows her wedding dress he could of gotten any dress and called it Belle's wedding dress.
It's actually so awful that he paid so much for him and his friends and then what he booked for her like he didn't care at all for her enjoyment and making her happy, that's not a partner at all 🙈
Sadly, this happened a lot on the show. The stag do would be some amazing holiday abroad, and the women would be stuck in some shitty little hotel room with £50 towards some Chinese takeout. Honestly, how often it happened was pretty insane and made me wonder just how much the groom actually cared/knew their bride-to-be.

As a former wedding coordinator assistant, Beauty and the Beast could be a wonderful theme for a wedding. You could do so much with that, but this groom really mucked it up!
The WORST Don't Tell the Bride episode I ever saw was when the bride came from a very traditional Jewish background and the groom decided to have the wedding on a rugby pitch which he then filled with hot tubs and the idea was that everyone sits in a hot tub while they get married. He got her a white bikini to wear and everything which was bad enough considering her heritage but it got even worse when she then reminded him at the hot tub "altar" that she was literally allergic to chlorine so couldn't get into the hot tub anyway...most of the guests also opted out of getting into the tubs so they just awkwardly stood around a load of empty tubs. She was very sweet about it though and just seemed happy to be there but the second hand embarrassment was REAL
I watched the show where they have several weddings and the brides attend each other's and rate them. Winning couple get a free honeymoon. In one episode one couple were nudists and were having a naked wedding. The bride assured the others that they didn't have to be naked. It was so awkward the other brides were trying not to look at anything 😅 Reception was clothes on though. Nudist couple came 2nd😅
When I got married, the hairdresser I hired for the day had been on Don't Tell The Bride. She spilt all the tea about how the production crew kept trying to throw a spanner in the works to cause drama for the show. They made it so she was massively late to the ceremony to make the groom think she wasn't going to show. She had a massive white dress and they stuck her in some skanky boat and she got soaked.
Omg I was so frustrated with everything he did, he does not care about her AT ALL, the wedding was all about him. And from what she said about when they were in high school, this man is a walking red flag, and she has rose colored glasses super glued to her head. The only reason she was happy at the wedding was because she loves him, and was happy to be married.
Ok, I just have to say: Disney officially collaborated with several wedding dress designers to release official Disney Princess inspired wedding gowns. This yahoo could have purchased one of the official Belle inspired wedding gowns, in white! Thank you, I feel so much better having said that 😂.

Thing is, one of the major components of the show and the "benefit" of going on it, is that they pay for the wedding for you- but they give you a really strict budget. That's one of the reasons so many episodes are so cringe, they don't allow enough money for a "nice" wedding on purpose. Doubt they would be able to pay for the "amazing wedding venue" with whatever they were given
People who got married on this show have come out to say that if they backed out of or canceled the wedding, they would have to pay back the money. One couple said it was a rate of 1000 pounds per day. So that is a major consideration for the couples involved even if the bride isn't happy or the groom spends all the money on his stag.
you can’t convince me the bride and groom don’t tactfully plan the most horrendous thing together and stage it to get a free wedding that they get to laugh over in the future
@@Aurora_Lightbringer nah, because many brides literally get divorced shortly after the show, and some even just don't go through with the wedding/dont sign the legal papers after the ceremony because of how angry they are
Basicly the bride looked at the i pad and saw her wedding was taking place in another country and let it slip she knew the producers canceled everything @jadeshepherd8627
that episode annoyed me so much. I get that the couple broke the rule but dttb still got an episode out of them so they should've had the wedding anyways.
just hearing you talking about your own wedding to Chloe warms my heart.....and the fact that a Dexter theme could be on the cards is top notch, I mean the ring could be the one the ice truck killer proposes to Deb with (a replica obvs), the place mats and name cards could all have blood spatter on them, the furniture could all be shrink wrapped, the knife you use to cut the cake could be stained in "blood", the attire could be replicas of those worn by Dexter and Rita on their wedding day, you could be "drugged", gagged and bound to take you to the venue - like really if you think about it, the sky's the limit 🤣🤣🤣
I would love a wedding like this. All dressed up in accurate clothes and all. But not outside. No angry mob. No SFX makeup. Like he has the makings of a good wedding but blew his budget on his stag party and the mob. I also think she mentioned wanting a Princess wedding and he thought Disney while she thought like Kate Middleton.
Honestly, if he had shelled for an actual castle/castle-adjacent venue, and maybe gotten the attending folk to be the "mob" rather than some hired actors and they "followed" her into the venue that might have been... a save? A possible save. If.... if you could possible save this very hard-themed wedding when it is only planned by one party.
You gotta look up what happens to couples after the show and relay the info to us! A lot of couples get told if they dont go to the wedding and get married that they have to pay for the expenses, idk abt this lot BUT sometimes people divorce right afterwards.
There’s one where the guy goes on a week long bender in vegas in the name of “planning the wedding” (which is of course precisely the opposite of what the bride wanted) and also he says half her family can’t come because the plane tickets were so expensive (when obviously all his people are there) and it’s so bad, I don’t want to spoil it, but it’s so bad. So bad
I don’t think I’d ever be on a show like this with men like this. My fiancé and I have talked extensively about what we want for our wedding and he knows my preferences. So I’d trust him with our wedding but only him.
They don't choose people like this for drama purposes. The early episodes were very much "I love my fiance and I'm thinking about what she'd like when I plan this" and there was no drama. So they now interview them separately and only take people with different views, and if they change the plans/ suddenly get nice it's like a break in the rules and they have to pay for it

This episode was alot better then one i saw, the groom just turned it in to a booze tour, he wanted to get married at a beer factory and wanted the party as a pub crawl, didn't tell or bring a second pair of clothes of the bride, so she would of had to walk around in her wedding dress, fairs to say noone was impressed and she left him, my mum was watching and actually cheered when they daid they broke up.
this show annoys me so much like why are people getting married when they clearly don't know each other or why haven't they at least discussed the kinda wedding they want just immediately going on DTTB without even an attempt to give it a go
@@tokyoyoongi5538 aha I didn't mean they literally don't know each other I meant on a deeper level like if you're marrying somebody you should know most everything about them
The only defense I have for the husband is that people who have been part of this show has said they purposely ask you what you would hate the most for your wedding then make the groom pick from the 3 worst ideas the bride could think of. They will also plant drama like how the sister somehow found out about the bachelor night. That was 100% told to her by a crew member. There was a couple that was on the show and the wedding was so horrific that they ended up saving up for several years to have a proper wedding.
"...whilst you sit back and do absolutely nothing. Surely that's the best idea ever. That's what everybody wants". Literally most brides want the complete opposite 😂
Some other episodes include a wedding not going ahead because the bridesmaid told the bride the venue and another were the couple didn't legalise the wedding because the bride hated everything, instead they went away to work on their relationship.
I remember one episode where the guy went to Thailand with his groomsmen to “buy the bride’s wedding dress” but they went full hangover movie and spent the budget going to bars. So they went home and bought a cheap wedding dress. It was a sad episode
I was always baffled at the end of every don’t tell the bride episode, because no matter what shit the grooms did the brides always seem to be happy in the end?
They had an episode based on what the wife chose from a pick of 2 unmarked envelopes so that if she ends up hating it "it's not [the man's] fault if she hates it" 💀💀
The yellow dress is Belle’s ballroom gown. Belle is depicted wearing a white wedding dress later on. Also Beast lived in a castle. So she could have had the white dress, and the castle, while keeping with his theme. This was so frustrating to watch. Poor girl.
"Wow, this episode of 'Don't Tell The Bride' was an absolute rollercoaster! I can't believe how everything unfolded. From the very beginning, you could sense the tension building up, especially when the groom chose such a wild theme without consulting the bride. It felt so one-sided and honestly quite unfair to her, considering that this is supposed to be one of the biggest days of their lives. The way she reacted when she saw her wedding was just heartbreaking but also not surprising. The emotional turmoil was palpable, and it really made me think about the importance of communication and compromise in a relationship. On top of that, there were those cringe-worthy moments where the groom seemed completely oblivious to what his bride really wanted. I mean, how could he not realize that a neon rave-themed wedding wasn't exactly her dream? It felt like he was more focused on impressing his friends rather than cherishing the love they shared. I remember that moment when she walked down the aisle; her expression said it all. It was like she was in a completely different universe, and you could see the hurt in her eyes. Then there was the whole family dynamic, with the bride's family clearly disapproving of the ridiculous choices he made. It added yet another layer of drama that made the episode feel even more intense. This isn’t just about two people getting married; it’s about two families coming together, and the groom just didn’t seem to grasp that concept at all. In the end, you kind of feel for the groom, too-he had good intentions, but it really showcased how crucial it is to have empathy and to truly listen to your partner. This episode was so brutal but so eye-opening. I think it serves as a reminder that planning a wedding is a team effort and needs two people who are willing to build a shared vision of their future together. This will forever remain one of the most memorable and meaningful episodes in the series, showcasing the stark reality of what happens when love is overshadowed by selfishness. I can only hope that this serves as a lesson for others watching!"

People who got married on this show have come out to say that if they backed out of or canceled the wedding, they would have to pay back the money. One couple said it was a rate of 1000 pounds per day. So that is a major consideration for the couples involved even if the bride isn't happy or the groom spends all the money on his stag.
dont tell the bride was AWFUL, i always felt so bad
It’s so brutal
Belle's dress from Beauty and the Beast isn't even yellow 🙈🙈 it's like a nice light gold colour
you can’t convince me the bride and groom don’t tactfully plan the most horrendous thing together and stage it to get a free wedding that they get to laugh over in the future
Nah, it's the show producers and team that like to influence things to be worse
@@Sh12penNah, it's both.
@@Aurora_Lightbringer nah, because many brides literally get divorced shortly after the show, and some even just don't go through with the wedding/dont sign the legal papers after the ceremony because of how angry they are
My ex's cousin got married on DTTB, the production team pushed him to make the most terrible decisions and they ended up divorced in less than a year.
"You only get to do it once...with this man" - Liz Taylor would beg to differ there
angry mob gonna chase her down for wearin a frickin yellow dress 😂😂😂
I remember watching this show as a child and I think this is a great influence to why I’m bisexual with a female preference
When he's called the Beast, but he's more of a Gaston.
Even a Disney Stan wouldn’t like this
There actually was an episode where the people broke the rules and they couple ended up getting kicked off the show that was crazy
I was researching this one!!
:O how did they break the rules???
Basicly the bride looked at the i pad and saw her wedding was taking place in another country and let it slip she knew the producers canceled everything @jadeshepherd8627
Wait whattt?
that episode annoyed me so much. I get that the couple broke the rule but dttb still got an episode out of them so they should've had the wedding anyways.
Sure he could of found a FREE angry mob in Blackpool.
The acc wedding was held in Lancaster 😂probably a little less likely to find
Insanely I don’t even think this is the wildest episode - there’s one that’s themed on Oktoberfest where the wedding doesn’t even go through 😂
He took “I wanna get married in a castle” and his mind went to fairy tale 100% 😂
I need this show to come back and revisit some of the couples and see who is still together 😂
ChAnnel 4 posted a month ago a video about one couple that is still together
I swear this show must’ve broken up SO many marriages
the marriage in this episode didnt break up. Im actually a relative of them and theyve been happily married since with 2 daughters
just hearing you talking about your own wedding to Chloe warms my heart.....and the fact that a Dexter theme could be on the cards is top notch, I mean the ring could be the one the ice truck killer proposes to Deb with (a replica obvs), the place mats and name cards could all have blood spatter on them, the furniture could all be shrink wrapped, the knife you use to cut the cake could be stained in "blood", the attire could be replicas of those worn by Dexter and Rita on their wedding day, you could be "drugged", gagged and bound to take you to the venue - like really if you think about it, the sky's the limit 🤣🤣🤣
The Beast was a Prince so he could have had the same theme but in the wedding venue she wanted
HELLO YA GORGEOUS DONUT
You are the most gorgeous donut of us all Cam
Hello, Cameron.
fun fact I met eddie hall with my father 🤭
Hi cam
Hello No 1 donut ❤
The groom is just flat out selfish, I’m sorry he didn’t care about her or have any respect for her
Yep he used the whole thing to "teach her a lesson" and put her in her place. So horrible
The first dress where he tried on the beast suit was accurate to the cartoon. Why not get that one? It looked so much better.
Cause supposedly they didn't want it being walked through a forest.
the fucking bouncy castle😭😭😭
So they now interview them separately and only take people with different views, and if they change the plans/ suddenly get nice it's like a break in the rules and they have to pay for it
Needed this right now Cam. Ta very much.
this show reminds me of marrying mum and dad it was on cbbc when i was a kid and their wedding was organised by the kids
Looking very dapper mr kirkham!
My neighbours were on it.
Let’s get them on the channel
Love being a donut it fills me with so much joy being part of this community ❤ also this was an amazing video !! You should react to ghost adventures would love to see your reactions to it 😂
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONEEEEE YAAAY
This isn’t the worst. One bride did get married in a bikini. In a hot tub. And she’s allergic to chlorine.
i wait all day for these uploads 😫
on holiday but still need my daily fix of cam kirkham
Jealous mate
Haven’t seen don’t tell the bride in ages 😭 my mum used to sit me down and watch this 😂 can you watch Friday night dinner or gavin and Stacy , really enjoy your videos ❤
Omg gavin & Stacy! What a throwback! - I’m gonna rewatch this!! 👏🏽👏🏽
That was the very last episode I remember watching and left a bad taste in my mouth 😅
The Blackpool shade is so funny, and so real
Jokes on the production staff: she really wanted this as her wedding, and they knew that they would not be selected if they acted like it was.
This dude is so funny 🤣 say it how it is Cam lmao plus you’re accent is awesome 🙂
Thank you 🙌🏻❤️
@@CamKirkham what is that accent? I can’t work it out but it’s neat 😎
@@Brit-jr-1988he’s from Newcastle I’m pretty sure
@@jess9875 I did think so 🙂 love it 😊
I love beauty and the beast, but if my husband-to-be was dressed as the beast as I walked down the aisle, I would turn and run 😂
I love don’t tell the bride it is so funny! You are amazing cam!
this show annoys me so much like why are people getting married when they clearly don't know each other or why haven't they at least discussed the kinda wedding they want just immediately going on DTTB without even an attempt to give it a go
The couples do know each other but they'd rather get a free wedding than a wedding they'll appreciate 🤷♀️
@@tokyoyoongi5538
aha I didn't mean they literally don't know each other I meant on a deeper level like if you're marrying somebody you should know most everything about them
The only defense I have for the husband is that people who have been part of this show has said they purposely ask you what you would hate the most for your wedding then make the groom pick from the 3 worst ideas the bride could think of. They will also plant drama like how the sister somehow found out about the bachelor night. That was 100% told to her by a crew member.
There was a couple that was on the show and the wedding was so horrific that they ended up saving up for several years to have a proper wedding.
New video from cam always a banger
Really worried about what he thought to put on a post-it note... RUN, Chloe!!! While you still can! Hahahaha
Cam - "This show is insane!"
Me - "They have Aldi in the UK??" 😂
"...whilst you sit back and do absolutely nothing. Surely that's the best idea ever. That's what everybody wants". Literally most brides want the complete opposite 😂
Cam and don’t tell the bride is the best Tuesday combo ❤
I just giggled this entire video! Thanks for that!
Cam, mate. Have you ever been to the woods before? Seagulls don't usually make a habit out of dying there LMAO
Daily dose of Cam - nice one bruva
Yes, Cam! Unlocked a memory with this one!
Thank you for constantly filling your donuts with your content
Some other episodes include a wedding not going ahead because the bridesmaid told the bride the venue and another were the couple didn't legalise the wedding because the bride hated everything, instead they went away to work on their relationship.
looking forward to watching this vid I binge watch ur vids every night before bed :))
I remember one episode where the guy went to Thailand with his groomsmen to “buy the bride’s wedding dress” but they went full hangover movie and spent the budget going to bars. So they went home and bought a cheap wedding dress. It was a sad episode
Just found your channel through this video and my god are you hilarious. It's like I hear myself think out loud hahahahahah. I'm a fan.
I was always baffled at the end of every don’t tell the bride episode, because no matter what shit the grooms did the brides always seem to be happy in the end?
Apart from that one woman who dumped the guy who tried to make her fly to Vegas
Im a huge dungeons and dragons nerd so im all for this wedding 😂 except me abd my other would be like doing some epic quest to getting married 😂😂
The larping wedding was beautiful
“one rule of a wedding, don’t wear a tail” 🤣🤣
@camkirkhambabyy this has been one of my favourite uploads of yours😂
you're always funny and entertaining but this vid.....OML fkn brilliant . thankyou for your dedication to your channels and to your donuts....you make a dark day bright 🌟💫🍩🌼💙
Do more don't tell the bride please? There are so many insane episodes! :)
The saddest part is this isn't even nearly the worst groom. He's self absord but he doesn't seem to be spitefully sabotaging the wedding and disrespecting his bride. He's excited about his theme and wants to be The Beast...
Love your narrative, so much fun.
To be fair. I'd have loved this. Especially the venue. It's Williamsons park in Lancaster and it's absolutely gorgeous. Ideal outdoor wedding location. And the dress and his outfit I would love haha
To be fair, the zombie wedding sounds kind of cool. Marrying in the woods with a Beauty and the Beast also is generally something I'd vibe with. I guess I'm weird.
The men never choose anything the bride would've picked themselves! 😂
7:06 hes talking like he doesnt live in the UK. My umbrella is almost a 3rd limb at this point AND IVE ONLY BEEN HERE FOR 7 OUT OF 33 YEARS! 😂😅
So glad, i stumbled onto this channel lol
And yeah this is a crazy ass concept wtf
But tbh, i wouldnt trust my boyfriend either with wedding planning. First, he has adhd, we are a mess with plans and second, he told me very early on, he wants to go to the altar with the donald duck tie. Also, weirdly enough, he wanted to marry in the woods at first as well.
Hed be a candidate for a mess like this as well lol
The fact that this man (the beast) works at my old school.
Are they still together
@@peterrabbitn787 yeah they are, they're my step-uncle and aunt
I never saw this show, but i was aware of this episode and a couple others. I thought awwww maybe the bride loves beauty and the beast, thats so lovely. How wrong i was
This was all about him, the beast thing was based off of himself and no thought to her. They may stay together, but that's because she's not asking for more for herself
