There's a BTS for this video, where Kirstin really explains what the song is about that I would recommend, just on your own time. For Kirstin, as a performer, it's a feeling of vulnerability in front of people (the public) that you don't really know, and you're vulnerable even when/if you don't want to be. It's really a darker song from her perspective than the lyrics and melody might seem like.
There's an acoustic version of the song that Kirstin did at the Shadowlands wolf/wolf-hybrid sanctuary that I like a lot - nice acoustics, and the music isn't over-produced like I kind of think her album was.
"Break a Little" and "Bad Weather" both very good. The message in the lyrics are both fantastic.

Love her solo work! Interesting that all the work on this album was done while she was with her previous partner. She broke off her engagement to him very shortly before she was supposed to get married in late 2017. 2017 was a rather chaotic and momentous year for PTX. It's when Avi left, they auditioned and got Matt, Kirstin broke off her engagement, and it's also when Scott first met Mark. She met Ben (Elliana's daddy and now Kirstin's husband!) summer of 2018 when he signed on to be the tour videographer for PTX. They started dating later that year. I find it interesting that she used so many camera/video references in this song/video, and then she ended up dating and marrying a photographer/videographer/film producer. Haven't heard anything, but keep hoping that she'll do some more solo work at some point--maybe even this year with the downtime from touring that PTX has!
