Hmm it’s interesting that the building value has potential to appreciate separately from the land. My father built our home in 1995 and historical permits show it cost him around $300,000 to build the house at the time. Current assessments place an estimated value of the building alone at around $500,000-$600,000 not including the land underneath it. I read somewhere it is actually more expensive to buy land and try to build a new house over it but you have the freedom to customize the home.

Hi sir I have question just 1 month before I had make purchase agreement with active home in Laurel I chose the lot and start doing mortgage pre approval with the person given by the same builder sales person I just follow up time to time but communication from them is weak and aril 23 they ask me to deposited 5% I make draft and went to give draft to the office they denied the draft and told me it’s expired by 16 th April I was not informed there is expiration now they blame that because for delay on Mortgage. They will sell that house if I pay more 15 thousand the deal we made previously Now builder is not selling this property to me and returning my deposit. Could you help me what is the step I can take against such type of situation. Thanks
There is nothing I can do to help you now, you should have had a Realtor helping you with the purchase, ensuring the contract was proper and to protect you and to keep an eye on your condition dates!
