Great video. Sadly, for me at least, the FAS is a shadow of its former glory. I first went in 1986 and saw the SR-71 perform (i was 11), then went every other year and loved them all. Unfortuntely, either due to budget or regulations, the displays got less and less good starting from about 10 years ago, and the ticket prices went up every time. The last straw for me was when i last attended, the show, they actually duplicated the dispays, showing the same aircraft twice in one day. The lineup was already bad, and by that point, i was only goign out of tradition. Anyway, nice video, and im glad you enjoyed yourself. Im thankful i got to go in its heyday
Thank you for your comment. I completely agree with you. It is sad. The Shoreham airshow crash massively affected the health and safety regulations, as has the building up of areas around the airport. The shows were noticeably better only a few years ago when the red arrows and other fighters could do a full display and when the A380s came along. The show isn’t even aimed at the public anymore with only one public day, where most of the half decent Aircraft have already left. Hopefully the show can get better in years to come but who knows. We were very lucky to have seen it how it used to be. 👍
Thank you for the support! Your right! In a way it is probably better down that end as you don’t get all the other people in it! Great video and channel by the way!😄
I mean, you knew intellectually that the Lightning II wasn't going to rub off the Eagle, but you still kind of held your breath as it started to taxi away.
Hi, thanks for your comment. I think that they were waiting for normal airport traffic to go before them. Im not sure why they had to do this because it must’ve been very frustrating for the pilots.
Yes, there were a few arrivals and departures around them, and surely the pilots would’ve been bored to tears, I was wondering if there was something flying low and slow nearby that perhaps had strayed into the restricted zone.. Anyway, thanks for your content, and I hope you enjoyed the day, despite the rain!
Hello, I’m in the US Air Force and I worked this event with the F-15 and F-35. We ended up waiting so long because of the rain earlier, tower wouldn’t give clearance for the F-16s to take off because of the wet runway. They are normally used to about 8,000ft of runway and we were told they only had 1,600ft at this event. So to prevent any possible chance of failure, we all had to wait… and yes… every pilot was extremely frustrated.
You do great work! Looking forward to more, thank you!!
Appreciate the Support, thank you!

fantastic footage
Thank you
Wonderful video my friend. Keep a good work & thumb up!
Appreciate the support! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great stuff! Seems like we filmed the same thing from 2 different ends of the runway 😎

nice

The Eagle isn’t America’s most successful fighter for nothing.
I’ve seen everything in the US inventory with the exception of the F35. 🇺🇸
That’s very cool!
Wow, looks like the F-35 took off in a much shorter distance than the F-15
Yeah I know! I assume it’s a lighter aircraft.
I was on the run way next to the big navy plane
Wow, that’s really cool. It was incredible how close you could get to all the jets!
AVIANO F16S..how desparate are dorks..to get UP TO DATE..??
It’s a shame we had to wait around for so long 😂
I know right! 😂 We were just anticipating the moment that they would start moving!
Then they kicked us out before the a350s and a220 left 😭
I know right!! I was so gutted because I was going to film them close up too! Such a shame.
@@runwayplanespotting did you see the A350 demo though? That was amazing! Hope to be flying one of them someday
Yeah I did! It was brilliant as well! Same !
Hi, do you have any idea why it took so long for them to go?

I appreciate the support, thank you! You could well be right, because it was very odd! I did manage to still have a good day too! 😀

That’s incredible you work for them! What an amazing job! Thanks for that information too! Very interesting.
2:42 the pilot disengaged the afterburner quickly!!
That’s what I thought!! I don’t know why!
@@runwayplanespotting I bet it just wasn't necessary because the F35 has so much power. Hahaha
Your probably right!
@@runwayplanespotting they always do that at Lakenheath :) uses a lot of fuel
@@runwayplanespotting great catches!
hi i was there
That’s great! It was so busy as everyone wanted to see fighter jet action!
'
F-15 / F-16 are more faster speed than F-35...
3 F-s airplanes are good flys
The F22S and F35S..will be as BORINGLY as common.. as our TORNADOS AND F15S.. HENCE.. THEN THERES ..UAV S.. BRACE YOURSELVES..
