Hi Chelsea! The Lady with the beautiful and clear voice. Wow, those are the exact products I have for that problem. Also, have the Meguiars Pro Protein Stain Remover (d116) which is also for milk, food, and organic matter dissolves urine stains and neutralizes them. Great video and awesome job, you rock madam! I love dogs and cats but unfortunately I am allergic to them. After an hour, I start sneezing like crazy. I have to be with mask. By the way, I also have gag reflex pertaining to bad odors but that's part of the job. Xoxo from Puerto Rico 👋👍🇵🇷
Great video! I've used most cleaners but the Amazon branded enzyme cleaner is the best. Also, you may want to refrain from using any type of cleaner before using enzyme cleaners as the enzymes are pretty easy to kill thus making it more ineffective. Also Temperatures can render them less effective. Thanks again
My cat got inside my King Ranch. I had to end up pulling the carpet out and replaced it with a new one For $187. Was well worth my time doing all the extra work
This is a write up done by Jason Thacker. ValuGard Odor Terminator. As effctive or much better than some of these other suggestions. Definitely safer! What is it Odor Terminator is an odorless liquid used to eliminate any organic smell. It is not a cover up fragrance and has no smell of its own. Safe to use on any surface that can get wet. Will not stain fabric, Carpets or upholstery and is safe on leather. It is non-toxic. How it works ValuGard Odor Terminator works by altering proteins that bacteria feed on. All organic odor is caused by bacteria. This bacteria needs to feed on proteins every twenty to thirty minutes to survive. When odor terminator alters the proteins the bacteria no longer feed, and they die which permanently removes the smell. Even Cigar and Cigarette odor are caused by a certain type of bacteria that feeds on the proteins found in nicotine. Odor Terminator is a contact chemical, meaning it must make contact with the source of the odor to work. Other cover up products rely on a strong fragrance to mask the odor causing the odor to return once the fragrance loses it potency. Ways to use it Odor Terminator is not a cleaner or an enzyme. The problem areas must still be cleaned prior to using Odor Terminator. You can however, mix Odor Terminator safely into other cleaning chemicals such as All-Purpose cleaners and Carpet-cleaners. Typically, two or three ounces in a in a twenty-four-ounce spray bottle is enough. For those with carpet extractors, Odor Terminator is a safe chemical to use in the fresh water tank. It will not hurt the seals, pump or heater in the extractor. Mix four ounces per gallon of water. Once the area has been cleaned, Odor terminator should be sprayed full strength over the entire surface of the interior starting with the head-liner and working your way down. A fine mist is all that is needed. No need to saturate the area. Be sure to wipe off the glass and instrument panel areas. It will not hurt these areas. It may leave some spots or streaks though. Notes: In most cases, Odor Terminator needs time to work. usually, twenty to thirty minutes. This is the time it takes for the bacteria to die. With large spills that are deep in carpets and or upholstery, using Odor Terminator in an extractor allows it to wick down deep into the padding (known as the Jute) of the carpet. Simply spraying on the surface will not be sufficient. While cleaning and a few minutes after it’s not unusual for the smell to get stronger at first. This is normal.
I know part of the process says to lay a towel down and put something heavy on top of it. Did you do that? If so what did you use to weight the towel down and did you have to wick and repeat? Thank you so much.
I have a gallon of a product just in case! Used it for yrs for my sons nose bleeds. Took the blood smell out. Says it’s for all kinds of things. Kids get sick in the car , worked great for that too!!
No in order for the enzymes to work they have to dry on the surface so I lightly misted, brushed it on and let it air dry as per instructions on the bottle. Some enzyme cleaners though you can extract but I didn't saturate.
Chelsea; you did an excellent job in removing the stain and odor. Would you not agree that to remove the odor completely, the use of an ozone generator would have been a nice touch?
Might but the carpets need to be dried to use it and the carpets were still damp due to how much I had to extract them from the residue. But yes that might help but it doesn't always remove it with one treatment.
I am so happy to find another female detailer! I am new to the business so still learning things and have a job next weekend for a vehicle that a cat urinated in. Do you think this stuff would work on cat pee?
Great! I actually just talked to her and still no smell in her car. I used flex and let it sit on the spot for a good 15 min then used my regular chemical guys carpet cleaner.
@@nicolemansfield6340 what’s flex? And nice to hear about the chemical guys! I’m actually planning on visiting the detail garage store tommorow morning to see what they can recommend for me.
I had a client who asked me to detail his wife's car when they were on vacation. he dropped the keys off at my house. When I opened the door, I was ht by a literal wall of putrid stench. What they forgot to tell me was that their dog puked on the backseat. They picked up what they could... but... The weather was hazy, hot and humid... I drove with the AC on high and all windows open. To add insult to injury, the low fuel light was on and the tank was reading empty. I pulled into a gas station and put $10 worth of fuel in the tank. I was able to clean the seat. When they came back, they apologized and gave me a very generous tip for my trouble.
Not yet. My initial thoughts are it's nothing more than buzz words. Soap and hot water sanitize essentially by themselves. So I'm thinking it's more marketing hype.
Try freezing it with an ice cube then use a fork (or bone pick) to gently pry it up. Or try soaking it with WD-40. Once you get the bulk up if there's any staining left behind then extract or rinse and blot.
Got any advice to clean between the seats I got so dam drunk that I piss myself lol and I got it all between the armrest and I can’t get the smell out help plz thank you
Glad to see someone else pull up the whole vacuum into the car instead of using the tiny nozzle over such a big area
I really like the long intro because it shows us how it works. thank you for that

When saturating are u not worried about damaging the electrical chairs with auto seat adjusts? Non manual non lever operated chairs*
I’m wetting the carpet not the wires which are normally up under the seats

After you sprayed the odor eliminator and let it sit for x amount of time, did you use the extractor once again or let it air dry?

I have a cat pee removal job to do tomorrow. I was going to steam scrub extract and then ozone. ozone doesn't work if the carpets are damp?
Ozone generator 30mins and boom all odor gone.

Hey Chelsea. There's also a product called Biokleen. It's an enzyme cleaner that may help with this situation if you come across it in the future.
Just curious if you have tried Lysol Laundry Sanitizer?

Hello from Connecticut. What can i use to remove gum from a vehicle's carpet ??

Pull the seats out and extract. No spot cleaning is going to remove the smell and it might be in the padding.
That dog went on a piss feast, but you definitely have it looking right!!! 🔥
Fantastic!
Odor causing bacteria? I thought urine was sterile. 1:37
That theory has been debunked. Urine is not sterile and contains bacteria even if it is minute
Will that get coffee smell
It should. Its an enzyme cleaner so it goes after odor causing bacteria
She's cute 😊😁
Great job! Looks better than brand new! Have you heard from the owner & his thoughts after it has completely dried, anymore odors?
No complaints yet. Will continue to follow up.
This isn’t really a “How to” lol. It’s more of a “How I” video
