I was in a program and went to a French school as a kid, so the first 10 years of my education were in French, but then I didn't speak it for 15 years and now I can't even remember the words for basic objects, but the actual grammar and sentence structure seems to be somewhat with me still, or as much as it ever was lol. I started watching Xiaoma's 12 hour French lesson as a refresher and found your channel there!

Appreciate the honesty, as always. I fell out of the saddle too around the same time, but I'm about to roll my sleeves up and get stuck in (well, 15-30 mins per day stuck in) again!
P.S. You should just move back to England! ;)

Great video. The greatest amount of time I spent without really studying English was around 3 months due to a mental block, but after that I fully recovered and got back on track.

No idea about the language level, but really enjoyed the TV series "Zatoichi"

I took a break of 46 years with Italian. It will be interesting to see how rusty I am.

Nice video! You mention that N5 corresponds to an A1. Where would you place the other languages you speak on an A1-C2 scale?

      Thanks!
It's hard to self assess but English C2, Spanish probably around B2, then Italian A1 😂.
French and Portuguese are native so it's hard to say! 😁
