Very good points. I think the main goal is not to seem like she is the only thing in your life and only thing you think about when you first get to know her. I think texting with a purpose is the biggest thing to take away. You don't want to text just to talk about her work, or school, or things she does every single day. Save the daily grind talk for on the phone or in person. Its ok to send a text that makes her know your thinking about her, but dont drag on a long ass convo through text, if she brings something up in text, than respond, but if not, just try to set up a time to talk on the phone or date

Not at first. Since I used to be so passionate and put great effort into conversations with the girls that I did like.
